Sage threw the young man who spoke up a somewhat annoyed glance, muscle in his jaw jumping slightly as he surveryed the guy. After a second though, he cocked his head slightly. "It could make a good one," he noted. "After all, every person I've known who's gone by that name has been cunning enough to get what they want," he noted quietly, an edge to his voice. It was a dangerous one....but he wasn't going to outright threaten them. Least...not yet. He did womder why they had a male and female together like that....but they seemed to get along. Except....the girl didn't seem so cocky. The guy he wasn't a fan of. But her? She seemed almost out of place. It was odd. He'd read up on all their files...the man was Dale, the grandpa who'd spoken earlier was Clarence. And he knew what they were in for. She didn't have the look of a killer about her. But he also knew those were the most dangerous ones.

Alleyah frowned and Dale swallowed, watching the new guard. He rolled his eyes then let them land on the cell across from him. "Ally" he called and she looked up. "Yeah?" she dusted her hands off, watching the articles float off. "i like this guard. Talks more than the last one." Ally giggled at Dale's statement. "oh well. We need fresh stories anyway" she said slwly, glancing at the guard

Sage sort of rolled his eyes in response to the other man's comment. "Your old guard was a ninny," he noted. "Got moved cuz he couldn't handle bringing people to death row," he noted, blowing another bubble of his chewing gum and letting the pop echo through the room, knowing the effect it would carry. "Stories," he noted, raising an eyebrow and mouth twitching slightly into the ghost of a dry smile. "I'm afraid you're out of luck. I've been down fighting in the middle east for the past three years. Not up to date with the stuff going on round here," he mused with a shrug. Edited at October 28, 2024 11:10 PM by NightClan

Alleyah shrugged, her eyes closed. she walked back to her cot. "Dale Dale Daleee" she sang out, a clear sign that she was bored. "What he asked, annoyed. "What'cha want?"Dale chuckled as she paced in a cirle in the middle of her room

Sage ignored the others when they stopped talking....it was t really friendly conversation or anything, more just to show them he didn't give a fuck about any of them. Though, he threw an amused glance in Dale's direction when he seemed annoyed the girl was talking so much. "Right," he muttered, getting up after a moment and moving towards her cell lazily. "Luckily for dale here, some of you get to go on a walk every day," he told her, unlocking the cell door and jerking his head off her to follow. "Let's give old dale here some peace of mind, yeah," he mused, figuring a walk might help the girl shut up. He didn't quite care to listen to her nonsense babble if she was bored all night and day.

Alleyah looked up from her new spot on the floor. "A walk? Since when?" She glanced at Dale who seemed to have mixed feelings. Ally tilted her head as she stood. Stepping out of the cell had been normal, but she hadn't seen past the showers and the cafeteria in months. How much had changed? Was it still winter? How long had it been since she had last seen rain? Like truely seen a downpour? She looked at Dale once more and his eyes held a sense of longing. "So where are you taking me?" She asked quietly, scared to say something that might get her in trouble

Sage sort of shrugged in response to the girls comment. "Since you got a guard who won't let you escape if you try something," he noted, moving to a sort of side door and unlocking it, sliding out and holding it for her, sticking close to her side as they moved on down the path, in case she tried to run. There was a fence around them, and guards, but still. "Just around a few of the buildings," he noted, stray ends of his hair whipping on the breeze that blew through the area. "Just a loop. But it's something."

Alleyah walked, her eyes widening in awe at the beauty surrounding her. She remained silent as she admired he few trees in the yard. "How long is this walk?" She asked quietly as she gazed at the sky. She fumbled with the hem of her shirt. She missed the sky, the sun. She missed running around outside. Sadly, thinking of being outside made her think of softball. Ally sighed but continued her easy walking pace.

Sage kept an eye on her as she looked around, but matched her pace as she went, moving alongside her lazily. Well...lazy wasn't the right word. He was moseing around like he was lazy, sure, but there was plenty of energy coiled in his frame, and it was pretty clear he could spring into action at any moment. Even the other guard avoided him like the plauge....though that could also be because he was one of the executioners there and didn't seem to give a damn about it. Plenty of them didnt' approve of the tattoos and peircings, either, of course. He glanced over at her when she spoke, having let his mind wander. He scolded hismelf for that, incase she'd tried to run off. "About twenty minutes," he noted. "Long enough after sitting around in a cell for as long as you have," he added with a shrug. "Once you get used to this we can go around twice. Beats sitting in that chair all night for me as much as its nice gettign out of your cell," he sort of chuckled.

Alleyah admired the fall leaves, the way some started to die, giving off some of the most beautiful reds and oranges with some yellow ones already rotting on the ground. The wind blew and leaves flew everyehwer, one landing infront of her. This one was already dead, so she took a larger step so she was able to stomp on it, the brown leaf crunching under her foot. "twenty minutes" she repeated, taking a deep breath of fresh air.
