04:21:11 Leaf Okay I am talking about nano premi toddler so probably gonna take longer. |
04:19:53 @Leafpool, my sister has a kid who started teething short time ago. It's also usually best if the thing being teethed on is also cold. (or freezable in some cases.) I don't know but that should also help even better. It'll be a little while before that phase is over. My nephew went through it in a flash, but some take longer than others. |

Nick Browns - "Um, yea that works for me." he said, watching the boy, whom he still didn't know the name of. Nick studied the boy, he was quite intriguing. He'd never met anyone like him. Nick watched as he ran a tattooed hand through his hair. Nick admired his hair, it was quite handsome... He pulled out his phone, his lock screen was a picture of the sunset over the ocean taken from the bow of his sailing dingy. His phone unlocked soon after he opened it up, through the facial recognition. His home screen was a picture of the beach he normally surfed at, the place he felt most at home. He clicked open his contacts app, which held his collection of many many numbers, half of which he didn't know who it was, other than their name, and the other half people he rarely talked to. Nick tapped on the add button, and handed his phone to the boy "Here, add your number so I can get in touch with you." Edited at August 6, 2024 06:16 PM by Burning Rose Equine

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien took the blond's phone, flipping it around and looking over the phone, trying to find the place to type his number in. He clicked on the 'mobile number' space and began typing in his number. After typing the number in, Adrien handed the phone back. Studying Nicholas' face he noticed how... tired the popular boy looked. He pushed the thoughts aside. Figuring he probably just stayed up to late. "Just text me and I can save your contact as well." He said, his voice smooth and a bit elegant as he nodded. Adrien glanced at Ms. Porter, his hazel and gold speckled eyes meeting her gaze. "Yeah, I'll tutor him. Are you filling me in on which subjects or will Nicholas do so?" He asked her, looking between the two. Ms. Porter nodded her head. "Mr. Browns can fill you in." She said politely. Adrien nodded, deciding not to question why, and instead looked at Nicholas. "Alright, you can text me whenever." He said with a small smile, his lips parting slightly. He pulled his bag further onto his shoulder, gripping the material tightly and slipping past Nicholas. Walking to the door Adrien pulled his black headphones off his neck, and on to cover his ears and pulling out his phone. He slipped out of the classroom and began down the halls, finding some music on Spotify. Adrien took a deep breath, sliding his phone back into the pocket of his jeans. He hoped he could get home soon to paint for a bit... He also wouldn't mind if Nicholas texted soon so he didn't have to worry about it anymore. Though, he didn't know how he was going to do the whole tutoring thing. He didn't exactly want Nicholas at his house. Maybe the library would work? He'd have to talk with Nicholas about it later. Nick Browns - Nick nodded and took his last look at the boy, before yanking his gaze away and looking back at Ms. Porter. "Do you need anything else ma'm?" Nick asked politely. Nick nodded and turned away after Ms. Porter said "No, thats all Mr. Browns" Nick walked out of the classroom, following the other boy. He looked in the direction the boy was walking and saw Arianna down the hall he was walking. Nick grimaced and walked in the other direction. He didn't want to talk with Arianna right now, he rarely ever really did want to talk to her. Nick didn't really want to be with her either, but he didn't know how to break up with her, she really was in love with him, but the feeling wasn't mutual. Nick had never found any of the girls he'd met or seen where particularly attractive and he didn't really wanna be with any of them. Thankfully Arianna didn't see Nick, he got out just in time. Nick made his way out to his black jeep, unlocking it, climbing in, starting the engine, and pulling out of the school parking lot. His surf board was already at the beach, where it lived, as he wasn't supposed to be surfing, so Nick hid his board at the surf shop, away from his dad. The sun and heat beat down on Nick as he drove his way to the beach. These wasn't much wind, so sailing wouldn't be fun, but it was perfect for surfing, as long as there where some nice waves.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien stepped infront of his locker, unlocking it and pulling it open. He grabbed his skateboard which was black and had some stickers on the bottom of it. Pulling it up and under his arm as he stepped back, closing his locker and locking it. He sighed gently, turning and walking out of the school. Looking around the parking lot before setting his skateboard down and pressing his foot against it. Adrien pulled off one headphone as he pushed off, beginning toward home. He knew Aaron wouldn't be there. She was probably at the beach, surfing or just swimming. She was in love with the beach at this point. Adrien kept pushing off the ground, weaving his scared board along the sidewalk. Daylight by David Kusher was playing in his ears, creating a nice ambience for him as he skated along. . Skating along a sidewalk that followed the beach, he saw his red haired sister surfing the waves and grinned. He waved to her and she waved back. He laughed quietly as she went back to surfing. Adrien skated along a bit more until he got to a beachside neighborhood. He skated along further and slowed by a light, grey-ish blue colored house with white sidings. It was a very seaside vibe house. Going to the door, he pushed his skateboard up, gripping the end and hooking it under his shoulder again. He didn't see any cars out front. Which confirmed neither Aaron or his father was home. His father was probably at his new girlfriends house. Or something. Adrien used the key hooked on his lanyard to unlock he house, turning the lock and pushing the door open. Walking inside and closing the door, setting his skateboard against the wall and kicking off his shoes. Adrien sighed, dropping his bag and pulling his phone from his pocket. He checked his music, skipping a few songs and landing on one he'd listen to for a while. I think I'm OKAY by YUNGBLUD He walked by the kitchen, ignoring the empty house as he made his way up the stairs to the second floor, then up another fight of stairs to the attic. Looking around the attic he smiled slightly. On the right side of the attic, windows lined the tilted ceiling, letting in light through them and giving him a good view of the beach and sunset. On the left side, fairy lights hung against the ceiling, a dark green couch pressed against the wall, pillow scattered on the couch. In front of him, across from the stairs, a stand with a canvas on it, that had a half painted sunset scene on it. Adrien walked over to the stand, sitting down on the stool infrontof it. He rolled up his sleeves and grabbed his paintbrushes. Beginning to dip them into the paint. Edited at August 6, 2024 08:08 PM by Oakwood Barn

Nick Browns - Nick parked his car, thankfully he managed to get a spot close to the entrance to the beach so he didn't have to walk over the hot pavement for too long. Cutting his engine he climbed out and jogged over to the surf shop. Entering through the back of the surf shop, and into the employee only section. He changed quickly, from his blue jeans and black tshirt to his black wetsuit. He grabbed his board from the back storage and ran straight out to the beach, plunging into the warm water, shifting so his board was below him. Nicks board was handmare by himself. It was a bright yellow to blue ombre with a sun painted on the top of it, that matched the sun tattoo on his wrist. He'd spent weeks of countless hours working on it, and now he'd had it for years, it was his prize possesion. Nick paddled out past the breaking waves and over to another surfer with bright red hair. "Hey Aaron!" Nick shouted over the crash of a wave behind him as he continued to paddle up to her. Nick stopped paddling and sat up on his board once he was about 5 feet away from Aaron. Aaron was nice, she was one of Nicks only true friends. She worked with him at the surf shop, and was one of the only girls he found in the slightest bit pretty. Yes, she was pretty, but Nick wasn't interested in her as anything more than a friend.

(Just a short thing bcs she is my character and is being interacted with) Aaron Pirla -♤- Aaron grinned widely as she saw a blond haired boy approaching her. She was wearing a black bathing suit, that was a bit more modest hen some of what the other girls had on. "Hey, Nick!" She chirped happily, running a hand through her glittering red, wet hair. "How're you been?" She asked, paddling a bit to get next to him as the waves pushed them around. -♤- Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien hummed quietly to his music, pressing small strokes of a salmon orange cored paint to the canvas, dragging it along the blank spaces and filling in the picture. He dotted new colors in the sky, opposed from the setting sun of the day before. It was always nice to watch, especially since he could see his sister, and vaguely know she was still alive. Adrien eventually decided to pause his painting for now, setting his things aside and standing. He didn't care for the paint splattered across his clothes and hands, accenting his hand tattoo. A black tuxedo cat padded over to Adrien, wrapping around his leg and purring intently. "Hey Trix...." He mumbled to the cat, bending down and picking the sweet tuxedo cat up. She purred happily, staying fairly still as he tucked her in his arm, letting her stay there as he went around, grabbing his sketching items. His sketchbook, his pencil, his eraser, and his phone. Plopping down on the couch opposite the window, and letting Trixie go to curl into a ball next to him, he opened his sketchbook. Scanning through the drawings he landed on a new page, beginning to sketch the vague beginning of hands. He really needed to get more practice on hands...

( Sry its rlly short ) Nick Browns - "Pretty good" Nick lied. Things at home with his dad was terrible as ever, and he was failing chemistry and barely passing all of his other classes. "What about you?" he asked casually, still sitting on his board. The waves pushed him and Aaron around, but not too much, so he didn't have to constantly shift his weight to balance the board out. The large waves were crashing pretty far from shore, but they were farther, past where they where crashing. Today was perfect, the waves, the sun, the weather, all perfect.

Aaron Pirla -♤- "Nick, you do know I know about your whole family thing. Yes? And that your whole body language is screaming 'no this is a LiE.'" Aaron said, humming quietly as she leaned back against her board, laying a nailed hand in the water. Tilting her head to watch Nick.

Nick Browns - Nick frowned a bit "Yea, well, I'd just rather not talk about it." he said looking behind him to see if there was any good waves. None yet, but he knew there would be some good ones soon. Nick had told Aaron about his dad being mean and grumpy all the time, but he absoluely refused to tell anyone about the whippings. Although, Aaron had seen the scars on his back, anyone who had seen him shirtless has seen his scars, but Aaron knowing his dad wasn't the nicest of people probably was suspisous of the scars and didn't believe his false story of getting tangled in ropes from a capsized boat.

Aaron Pirla -♤- Aaron rolled her eyes slightly, running her hand through the crystal blue waters. "I swear you sound like my brother sometimes." She quipped, continuing to watch him from her place on her bright yellow and pink board. Her red hair was splattered behind her, her blue eyes watching past Nick with a smirk on her light pink lips. She snorted quietly. "Sorry, there is someone past your head trying to surf on these not even waves." She snickered, watching the guy past Nick's head.
