Cade stumbled through the woods after hearing more screaming and deciding that it was better to leave and be lost, than to stick around and figure out what was making that noise. After a little bit Cade managed to find his way out of the woods and into a random neighborhood. He checked his bag, hopeful that he had grabbed his phone on the way out, which he hadn't. As he was checking his bag he realized that he had left his bundle of sage. He looked back at the forest behind him, he was aleady lost and really didn't have anything to lose by going back into the forest to try and find his sage. He sighed and turned around, walking back down the hill and into the forest. At first he recognized some of the trees he had seen on his way out of the forest but as he got deeper in he became completly lost. He was about ready to turn around and find his way out of the forest when he stumbled upon a girl.

Saphire kept her knees to her chest, her eyes squeezed shut in an effort to ignore the pain. it failed. Her head shot up at the sound of leaves crunching. She sat up and crawled backward, her head screaming because if the sudden movements. She leaned back against a tree, her eyes staring deep into the boys. Her shirt was torn and she had a gash on the back of her head from when Ridge had thrown her into the ground. Her back and neck had marks from where Ridge had grabbed her. Her breathing was quick and raspy as she studied the figure in front of her, but she didn't dare move

Cade's eyes widened as the girl noticed him, scrambling backwards. He slightly raised his hands, as if calming a small animal. The girl was in rough shape, she had several marks on her back and neck, her breathing sounded rough and her shirt was torn. Cade also noticed a gash on the back of her head. "Are you okay?" Cade asked. Was it the smartest thing to say? No, she was very clearly not okay but Cade really wasn't excpecting to run into a beat up girl in the middle of the forest.

Saphire swallowed. "Im- im fine" she stuttered. She pulled herself to her feet and began moving away, but after a few steps she collapsed onto the ground. "Ah. My head" she gasped, clutching the back of her head in her hands. Saphires green gaze traveled from the boy to the ground then up to the sky. If any other demons were around they most certainly would be watching. They would, have probably taken this boy long ago had they have known he was wandering the woods alone. Saphire winced and twisted to see behind her. Her back seared with pain and she but her lip to keep from crying out.

Cade watched her and cringed as she groaned in pain. "You need to go to the ER. I can walk you out of the woods?" Where was this girls family? I mean she looked to be his age but still, what had happened to her? Was there a bear or mountian lion? Maybe she fell down a hill? He watched her try and move away from him. "Hey I don't know what happened to you and I can't just leave you here. Do you have a phone? Can you call someone?"

She shook her head at everything he said. "I can't go anywhere. I have no where to go... no phone. No someone. And I can't go to the ER" if she went to the ER then the doctors would notice that she burned on the inside and that she was different. She couldn't have that happen. "But out of the woods would help..." she gripped a tre and hauled herself onto her feet.

"Um okay." Cade shifted his tote bag, the Ouija board glinting in the patch of sunlight. He walked next to her, close enough so if she fell she could catch herself on him but still not horridly close to her. "I don't know where we are but I'm sure if we start walking we'll find something eventually." He looked at her nervously, scared of her.

Saphire gave a small nod. She stumbled forward through the woods. She was very uncomfortable with him ther, but at the same time it was oddly comforting to have someone help her and not hurt her. She mentally reminded herself that she was in her human form and that she would need to remain that was for as long as possible. Any slip-up and she could cause a problem within the entire world

They walked in an uncomfortably silence for a bit. After a while Cade recognized where they were. They walked for a little bit longer, Cade leading them. After a while they stumbled out of the woods and onto a small road. Cade looked down the road, spotting some houses. "So if you can't go to the ER, what do you want to do?" He asked, looking at the ground. He tried to walk a little bit further to see if he could see anything else but ended up tripping, the contents of his tote bag spilling. "Sorry." He blushed, bending down to pick everything up.

"I.. I don't know" she muttered softly, her eyes downcast. When he tripped, she reached forward but was too late. She caught a glimpse of the board in his bag. "What's that?" She asked as she pointed to the board on the ground. She noticed the candles on the ground too. "What is all of this?" She asked. She glanced up at him then back down at the objects. She blinked a few times then looked down the street. She didn't feel comfortable here, but it was better than being attacked every few seconds. Best she could do was remind herself constantly that she is safer here than back in the woods and that she was in her human form.
