(sorry I completely forgot about this!) Liberty Norris ✴ CR: Ryker ✴ Golden Dahlia - Liberty peeked at the book Ryker had been reading, but couldn't quite see the cover. Oh well, she thought, I should be listening to what he's saying. So she did. Liberty looked down at the table after Ryker finished. Something weird had definitely happened yesterday at the waterfall, but Liberty had the feeling neither of them should be sorry for it. "I don't know what happened to me either. It... I..." Liberty was at a loss for words. She tried again, still looking at the table in between them, which had cup rings scattered around on it and crumbs lounging about. "It felt like it does when I'm about to do a riding meet. Like I was nervous and excited, but also with a bit of... of... A bit of..." Liberty now knew exactly what the feeling was, but she couldn't bring herself to say the word that would probably make the feeling come right back. Too late. It already did. Liberty's heart jumped and skipped and ran singing along the sidewalk, while her brain was the stern parent saying, 'be careful!' and 'what are you thinking?!'. Liberty brang her eyes down to her lap, where she saw her fists were balled and her knuckles were white. Liberty focused on relaxing, uncurling her fingers and breathing. But the little jumping hear wouldn't stop jumping; it seemed to have the energy of a crazy puppy.

(I've been super busy, sorry for not responding earlier!) - Ryker Rivera [] CR: Liberty [] Dashing to Freedom Ryker studied her carefully, wishing he knew what she was thinking. If only he could read minds. Life would be easier and harder at the same time. "Yeah. Nervous and excited." He repeated before thinking a little too hard about it. He almost strained his brain, because he knew that wasn't it, and he knew Liberty knew that wasn't it either. There was more. More of stuff he didn't really have words for. Well, okay, nevermind. He knew exactly what is was and what words he'd use to describe it, but he didn't want to say anything. Talk about crashing a party. His heart was definitely having one, and he was getting increasingly annoyed with himself. HOW was he ever going to be friends with Liberty if he felt like he swallowed a kangaroo. "Okay I can't do it. My brain is going to literally murder the rest of me. Yes, nervous and excited but also that other feeling, I have it and I dunno if you do but the awkward silence is also trying to kill me So I feel like I'm being assassinated by a bunch of things. I like you, to put it short, forgive me for ruining the newfound friendship " typical Ryker, making everything confusing and plain at the same time.
