(Starting!) +++++++++++++ A older, 2014 mud covered black Chevrolet Silverado, dual tired, flatbed pickup truck with a small 2 horse 2011 black trailer pulled behind it drove into the stretching gravel driveway of the Smooth Oaks facility. Parking near the barns, off to the side of the gravel, a slim, tall, attractive lady got out. Her black hair was pulled into a tight ponytail with two strands hanging loose on either side of her face. Her steely, greyish blue eyes observed the Stables. She was wearing a black tank top with a dark blue flannel shirt thrown over it, some faded blue jeans trussed up with a black leather belt adorned with crosses and leather tooling, having a golden belt buckle saying ^Barrel racing USA champion of 2023^ and black cow boots. She reached into a truck and grabbed a black cow hat, a single shimmery pheasant feather curling around the middle, then placing it firmly on her head and heading towards the back of the trailer. This was Frynn Edaline Fritz, a Norwegian immigrant, her whole family Norwegian lines, yet she had moved to America at age 7, about the time her irregular powers took over. Frynn grabbed a dark blue halter with a golden name engraved in the side, reading ^Forged In Fire^. She opened the trailer and let a striking dark Grullo mare out with black sooty dapples covering her back and rump. The mare looked like she had been charred by fire, hence the name. Frynn led the mare into the barn, where she hung up another nameplate, this one instead reading ^FBR Forged In Fire "Katana"^. After putting Katana into the stall, Frynn let out a quiet sigh and went to gather the rest of her stuff.

A white truck (It's def not as descriptive as yours 💀💀💀) pulled into the driveway. A tall, black haired boy got out, looking around the place. It seemed nice, hidden away in the forest. He nodded to himself and heard a hof scraping a trailer impatiently. He huffed out a laugh and wandered to the back of his trailer. He had already gotten a message saying he was checked in so he didn't bother going to the "Office." He pulled open the trailer, walking into the empty stall of the 2 horse trailer. He untied the lead rope that was holding his mare still and threw the lead lightly over her back. He stepped out and to the side. "Back." He called to her. She backed up, stepping down from the trailer and backing up cleanly. He smiled and took the lead rope that was attached to her black halter, "#1 Highest jump" on it, petting her gently. "Good girl." He said, smiling kindly. Phantom threw her head lightly, excited to be somewhere new. Adrien didn't have any of his medals or anything, he showed English, of course he wasn't wearing a belt buckle or anything. He gently pulled on Phantom's lead. "Walk" He asked. She started walking with him to the barn. He got to a stall and stopped, checking the name plate, "(Lemme think of one :0)" he odded. That was correct and opened the stall,s liding the door back. Seeing newly placed shaving's he smiled lightly and walked Phantom into the stall turning her around and unclipping the lead rope. He patted her gently, muttering, "I'll be back in a few." To her and stepping out of the stall, closing it and latching it as well as hanging up the lead rope. This, was Adrien Jole, multiple time champion in the show jumping world nationals (Don't come at me IDKKKKK), he and his horse, Untouchable Phantom Phenonomon were high raining champions on the leader boards. He was coming to Oak Barn to train with Phantom, and get her ucustomed to more distractions. He sighed and walked back out to his truck, grabbing all his tack and making multiple trips for it as he walked in and out, placing things in the tackroom.

Frynn was the record holder for the fastest barrel run in American history, and she had competed 3 times in the world series and got 1st every time. She was also known as one of the fastest flat Racers around, gaining 2nd, 3rd, and 1st place in America's big races. She had competed in the Kentucky derby once, earning her 1st place. All in hand, it could be easily said... at this time, FBR Forged In Fire was the fastest horse in America. Frynn hauled hay in, water buckets, and anything else she'd need for Katana. The name of her mare was after the Japanese fighting sword, a rare and deadly weapon. After all her mare's stuff was brought in, Frynn glanced around, noticing there was another new arrival. Another beautiful mare, and, she couldn't help but noticing, a rather handsome Boy to go along with the horse. Frynn turned her gaze back to the ground, not making eye contact as she went to get her keys for the cabin. After getting them she grabbed her one backpack out of the truck. She was here because she was sick of being in the spotlight. All the training and fame could be nice, but Frynn wasn't the person to appreciate it. Katana was only 4, and needed better hands on training. She hoped to make a new record for this barn though. She had seen when coming in that the fastest time for this barn was 14.11 seconds... almost a second slower than the World Record she had placed, clocking in at 13.09 seconds. Frynn walked to the cabin and set up her stuff, a rather quick process, before going out. She brushed her hair back from her face and started saddling up Katana. The mare had a dark blue pad with intricate gold swirls, and a black leather western saddle. The bridle looked much the same- black with dark blue and golden tassels. The breastcollar mirrored both.

Adrien hauled in all sorts of things for Phantom. The man one was her medicane. Nothing horrible, just to keep her healthy. It was a pain to check in for shows with it though. He snickered at the thought, marking the bottle with a sharpie, "Phantom's, don't touch." He didn't even notice a beuatiful girl as he walked back out to his car, grabbing his small backpack. When he said he barely had anything, that wasn't a lie. Most of everything he owned was in the bag. He walked to his cabin, cabin 3 and opened it, peering inside. Nothing. Nobody. He sighed in relief and stepped inside, switching the lights on as he stepped in, shutting the door behind him. He dropped his bag on the couch before sighing. Phantom is defiently going to want to do something. So he trudged back out to the barn, he was dead on hi feet, but immedaiatly perked up when he saw they had an arena with jumps set up. He grinned widely and hurried to the bar. He unlatched the stall door and slid it open, grabbing the black and white lead rope and clipping it to Phantoms halter. He led the mare out of her stall and tied her up a the cross ties, grabbing her white saddle pad, that had a little ghost imprinted on it, he slid it on to her back, then the saddle. After she was fully tacked up he slipped off her halter and slid on her bridle. Which also, had a little ghost on it. He grabbed the reins and hopped up onto her back, grabbing the reins softly and pulling on his helmet. After doing so he asked her for a walk as they started out the barn, Phantoms hooves clacking against the floor. After getting out of the barn he smiled, having her walk to the jumping arena. He started going over some basic warm-ups before he was cantering her around the arena, she had long, firm strides. He decided it was time and turned her to a 1.5 foot jump. Not at all high for them as he went into huntseat and cleared it easily. In doing so he smiled, he loved jumping. He hopped off, leading Phantom with him so she didn't try to jump the wrong fence and heightened the rails. In doing so he brought them up to 3.5 feet. Still, nothing TO high, but good enough for practice. He walked over to Phantom again and pulled himself on to her back, asking her for a trot, then a canter as the did a lap then went for the jumping. He counted the strides, go into huntseat and Phantom clered it with beautiful form, the mare's black and white hair flapping a bit behind her. They landed with a graceful, thump, on the other side and he slowed Phantom to a trot, then a walk, patting her. "Good job, girl." He murmured to her, looking at the jumps to find himself a training pattern. - Phantom looks like: Edited at March 12, 2024 04:36 PM by Oakwood Barn

Frynn clasped everything until it was all fitted nicely before leading Katana out, towards the arenas. She was thankful there were more than one, because the boy she saw from before was riding his strikingly beautiful grey mare around a jumping course. In the next arena over three barrels were set up. That was her call- she quickly looked away from the boy and his horse, leading Katana around the arena so the slightly spooky mare could get used to it before mounting with ease. Katana, an energetic mare, perked her ears and started prancing around as she looked at the barrels. After warming her horse up a little more, Frynn's face curled into a smile and she turned her mare, now bouncing in place, to the first barrel. Off like a shot, the mare's head and neck stretched out and she flew forward, slamming on the brakes and whipping around the barrel. Any inexperienced rider would have been tossed off, but Frynn laughed as she urged Katana towards the second. Around they flew, heading towards the third, and the home stretch was a flat out gallop. Both horse and humans black mane, tail, and hair were all flying out behind them as they, as one, raced home. Frynn had forgotten how nice it was to get away from the Roar of the crowd. Still, her mind was pricked with the quiet thoughts of the boy on his horse, which she quickly focused to shut out- she didn't need to hear whatever he was thinking. Never did she want to hear another male's thoughts again. Pulling Katana to a prancing walk, Frynn cooled the mare down a little before giving it a second go, though she was less focused now. The boy's emotions drifted over to her like waves. He was happy on his horse, content to be there, but he also had a slight feeling of unease under that. Frynn shook her head and focused on the run, feeling her fingertips warm up as she leaned forward to help Katana go faster.

Adrien took a breath, feeling something odd about the girl as he watched her whip around barrels quickly. Phantom had her ears pricked and was curiously waching the other beauitful mare. "She's a good rider." Was his first, and only thought on the girl. Nothing weird. Just, she was a really good rider. He then took a breath and focused on Phantom, blocking everything else out, his thoughts went mute. Completely mute. Nothing was coming from them. He just cantered his mare quietly, Phantom was quite content jumping over smaller jumps at the moment, he then pulled her to a stop, squeezing his legs gently, she stopped and he slid a peppermint from his pocket, handing it to Phantom, smiling a small bit as he felt anxious and nervous with the girl there.
