Audrey spurred Arwen on, laughing as the wind blew through her hair. She smiled and gently patted Arwen. "Good girl" she said as she pulled the reins and Arwen stopped. The two had made it to a deep part of the forest. Audrey smiled as the little forest creatures came running out to greet her. She had always loved animals and had a special bond to them. She sat down on the dirt floor and gently picked up a young jackalope. She stroked its back and booped its nose. "I have a gift for you" she said placing the jackalope down and going over to Arwen's side. Opening the side bag, she pulled out a carrot. She then offered it to the little jackalope and smiled as she nibbled away on it.

Al twisted as him and Gill raced through the shallows, careful not to scrape his skin or tail against rocks or sharp coral. Al didn't want his father questioning where he had been, or anybody else for that matter. Al waited for Gill to catch up to him, turning to see the blonde merman drift up beside him, his sea glass green tail coiled slightly. "Hey, want to head back, I reckon my father has started calling the squadrons" Al said grabbing Gills arm, and racing off towards his fathers cruel lead castle.

Audrey gave the jackalope a gentle pat before rising to his feet once more. She whistled and Arwen lifted her head from where she was grazing. The mare then trotted over. Audrey put her left foot into the stirrup and swung the other over the saddle. Once mounted, she gave Arwen a gentle cue and the mare took off again. Audrey laughed as the two rode. She really enjoyed riding.

Al twisted in the water, Gill at his side. Al started to spot the cruel grey castle, he winced but didn't stop. The two boys drifted into the barracks, armour already on. A small runt was trying to connect his armour together, but failed. Gill laughed at the small boy, and Al couldn't help but laugh too. One of the other boys came up beside the runt and glared at Al and gill, then turned to help the small boy out his armour on. "That was priceless" Gill said as they connected smaller minor weapons to there belts, long crystal adorned pieces of black leather with holes and pockets to hold weapons and poisons.

As Audrey and Arwen neared the sea, she pulled on the reigns. Arwen slowed to a stop and Audrey dismounted. Her mother's warning rang in her head, but she ignored it. The merpeople wouldn't come this close to the shore right? She thought. She gave Arwen a gentle pat and let her lower her head to drink. The salt water didn't affect her steed as Arwen was no regular horse. It tasted like normal to her. Something then caught her eye in the distance. She saw a group of something moving underneath the water. Reaching for her bow, she was on guard. She quickly grabbed Arwen's reigns and started to move away, unsure what the creatures were. They couldn't be merpeople right? They wouldn't come this close right?

Al and Gill swam over into one of his fathers royal court yards and the boys lined up in formation, metal scraping together as they did. The lieutenant, a greasy dark blue and grey merman slid out from one of the palaces openings. "Mhn, your here all ready, no one missing.. no punishment to serve" the Lieutenant said, staring Al in the eye. Al never liked him, when he is king, the first thing he would do is get rid of him. "Today, we will be testing your ability to find things, like safety, nooks, dropped weapons. This will be useful to you, to test this, we will be having a treasure hunt, Oh I know, contain your excitement" he said as a few of the young soldiers grumbled about doing a child's task. "There will be no teams, it's you against everyone here" he said, slowly drifting past Al and gill. His eyes flicked between them. "Things have been hidden all throughout the ocean, they each have a red tag on them, when the white sun shows you all will return. Then the amount of treasure will be counted for all of you, and the best marks go to the one you brings back the most treasure". The lieutenant stopped, his gills pulsing madly. "WHAT ARE YOU ALL STILL DOING HERE? GET GONE!" he roared at them, bubbles straying from his gills and mouth. Al turned and pushed Gill away from him, speeding through the water. Gill roared something unintelligible and clawed at Al, a smile on his face. "Cya little prick" Al said, shoving him again.

Audrey observed the motions in the water for a while before they faded. Deeming it not a threat for now, she let go of Arwen's reigns and let the mare continue her drinking. She then looked around. Finding a suitable tree in the distance, Arwen grabbed an arrow. After drawing the arrow from her back and placing in position, she pulled it back. Closing one eye, she focused. Bullseye! The arrow dug deep into the tree. Arwen then used a bit of magic to have the arrow return and the tree heal. She then continued practicing her target practice. Every once in a while, she looked back to make sure Arwen was well. The mare could care less, finding a good patch of grass to graze on.

Al swerved and weaved between coral, picking up small bits of objects with red tags and slipping it into a bag on his back, he was heading back to the cove. The warm currents pushed him faster, making him ease a little. Al saw another piece of trash, he can't believe that his father went through with this, a prince picking up trash like a scavenger, how pathetic. Al boosted himself out of the water, and whooped at the jump, then he dived back into the water, much like a whale.

Audrey froze as she sensed something behind her. She shot out a ray of magic as she turned. She realized it was just a sea creature leaping from the waters. The magic didn't make contact, but Audrey was still recovering from the scare. "Why am I so jumpy today?" She wondered before turning back towards her target practice.

Al felt something shoot over the water above him, then he cautiously drifted towards the bank, but he stopped where he had enough room to swim if things came hectic. Al spotted the person, it was a elf. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the rage, this elf didn't cause it. He spotted a four legged whale on the land, munching at something on the ground. He always wondered how they got the whales to grow legs.. (XD) Al cleared his throat again, and called out.
"You there! What are you doing near Merman territory, Elf!" Al said, propped up on a rock, with his crystal and diamond adorned circlet, he imagined he looked magnificent.
