It wouldn't hurt to know because with how many morphs there are now it can be hard once a snake has multiple genes to be able to tell what is there. Spider is also not the only morph that has wobble or neurological issues it's just the most common morph that people know about

Oh wow Skye she's gorgeous! She might train up well if you're willing to breed up her P. Some horses are only shy by a few points of being a higher rating

I wonder why there's such a wide spectrum spectrum of severity with spider and the wobble.
Side note do you think I should get Zazi genetically tested to see what genes hes got just for kicks? Been thinking on it lol

And behavioral wise I personally have had very calm and gentle BPs. My boy Val that passed away was an absolute sweetheart. I wish I had kept one of the babies from the clutch because he passed away a couple months afterwards <3

I personally avoid any morphs that I know have neurological issues because the spectrum of it is so varied between snakes even if they're from the same clutch. I've seen for example the spider morph where some of them had severe wobble that they couldn't eat and had to be euthanized but others from the same clutch had minimal to none.

Is there anything non deformity you try to avoid or remove? Genetic or behavioral wise? I appreciate you being nice, had I asked this in a old facebook forum I would've been crucifed lol

So I've only had one clutch so I can't necessarily say that I've had to cull however from my understanding anything that is a deformity which can impact the quality of life. For example like a kink in the spine, severe neurological issues like wobble, if they are not eating properly once they've hatched or failing to thrive.

How does culling work for BPs? Or yours in this case, ive always been curious about the less talked and less glamorous parts of breeding

Sebastian sort of winced as the lady took his joke in the wrong direction but he decided to leave it at that not trying to explain himself. "Yes, they do. Whoever set this up did a excellent job" He stated remaining focused on stretching out Aspen at the walk. At the ladys second statment he nodded his head "I agree once their warmed up we can make them higher" He said in a even tone keeping his eyes on his mare for a moment. When Sebastian looked up to see where the stallion was in the arena, his face scrunched up slightly seeing that he was starting to get excited about Aspen's presence. -Dear lord, please let that girl have control over that stallion- He prayed in thought as he continued to focus on Aspen, occassioanlly glancing over at the stallion seeing if the women got a hint that they wanted to keep a distance. Sebastian after a moment was thankful that she seemed to have control over the stallions behavior, always a green flag, and that she got the hint to keep a good distance. He always loved it when another rider had good ring sharing etiquette since it saved him the hassle of dealing with Aspens tantrums and a incident report if it got too far.
~
Sebastian kept his mare at a steady trot for awhile, occassionally changing directions as well as keeping an eye on the distance as the stallion had an obvious larger striding than Aspen did. He did take in account though that the girl seemed to make him shorten his strides to keep the same distance. Truly he was thankful that this was the person in his arena instead of some careless snob of a rider. As the girl and stallion started to work on the poles, he lengthened the mares stride into a working trot so it was more upbeat and faster. He watched for a moment as the other rider seemed to just float over the poles gracefully which intrigued him as the stallion looked more fit for dressage now then jumping. After a moment of getting Aspen warmed up in the working trot, he waited and found a perfect timing to jump in on the trot poles. As they approached he asked gave her a small nudge with the spurs, asking for a slight quicker trot so they entered the line perfectly. Aspen responded right away and quickened her pace as she came up to the poles. Each hoof landed perfectly inbetween the poles, it wasn't as floaty looking as the stallions but it was smooth as nothing changed in their rythm. Ater the poles he tracked right and continued on, keepign the same distance as they took turns on the poles. When he heard the girls voice once more, he snapped out of concentration to think for a moment "Not very long... I'd say about a month now." Sebastian answered her, turnign his head over his shoulder so she coudl hear him clearly as he spoke.

After a few more laps around the large arena Jax had seemed to settle down, he was calm and collected in his now completely smooth gaits. His head wasn't waving around trying to look at the mare who was either behind or in front of him all the time, he seemed much more ready to start the jumping now! Melodie picked up what the man was saying, apparently he had only been at the stables for a month or so, which was probably why she hadn't seen him before. The young lady kept a side eye on the mare before clucking Jax into aaverage gated canter, she rode him to the middle and started riding around the jumps. Mel had her eye on one of the jumps, it was one of the higher ones she picked out, it could be a simple starting jump and then the two of them could figure out what course they were going to take. With the mare practically on the opposite side of the arena, the girl and her stallion continued to make their way about the course at a canter, still getting an idea on how they wanted to do this... Melodie nodded as she got a somewhat rough sketch of a course she could take with Jax, they made a canter around the first jump so they were making their way to it, she could feel the stallions muscles tense a small bit as they picked up speed and cleared the jump perfectly. They continued around and went for another jump, more off to the side of the arena, they went flying over it in a breeze, clearing it but possibly over jumping just a tad bit. "Good boy, lets do another one shall we!" She patted Jaxes neck before circling back and heading straight for the double jump, these two jumps were a highest side as well, they cleared the first one perfectly, the second jump must have came to quickly or shocked Jax just a bit because he hesitated a bit before jumping and knocking the top pole with his back hoof. His head shot up and his nostrils flared, Melodie started to slow down, heading for the side of the arena to get out of the mare and her riders way, "Your okay, boy, good job." The stallion shook his head before snorting, his slightly pinned ears now relaxed. She let out almost a sigh of relief, as it turned out, Jax hadn't been ridden in a few days, maybe that double jump wasn't such a great idea...
"Its okay bud, we can try again in a bit..." Melodie whispered to the stallion before keeping him closer to the wall as the young woman started walking Jax around the arena, whispering and petting the horse until he completely calmed down. They picked up into a trot not long after, but found themselves a bit closer to the mare as both riders would have probably liked, pulling back on the reins slightly the stallion kept his distance, "Come on boy, dont annoy the lady. She won't like you then." Melodie chuckled slightly as she slowed him to a walk, letting the mare get a few more feet away before trotting again.
The next time, maybe after the lair in front of her had their turn, Melodie planned to try the regular jumps and then possibly the double jump at the end. As there were sure to be a few of those in the upcoming events.

Sebastian carried on working the poles, going both ways on them. When he heard the sound of cantering, he glanced over at the stallion and rider who were now working at the canter. He decided it would be best to stay on the rail out of their way as it seemed like they would be doing jumps now. Meanwhile, he kept Aspen at a working trot, having her keep her reach extended as to get ready for the canter. He laos kept a side eye on the rider and stallion as they began to jump. Subconciosuly he would count the strides in his head as they approached each jump, everytime their stride was perfect allowing them to sail over the jump with ease. Admittedly he was a bit impressed by her jumping ability... Until the last jump as he started counting out the strides his face scrunched up knowing a half stride was about to come in. As that half stride was thrown in, the stallion jumped and clipped the pole with his hoofs. Sebastian noticed that the stallion wasn't all too happy about clipping the jump so he made sure to stay out of the way as the girl calmed down her horse. After a moment he then brought his attention back to Aspen, she seemed loose and ready enough to have a go at the jumps. He was about to ask for the canter when suddenly the mares ears pinned and she let out a loud snort. Sebastian was confused at first before realizing the stallion was a bit close so he gave Aspen a nudge with the spur urging her focus on going forward. It took her a second nudge in order for her to get focused again. Then Sebastian heard the riders comment, "You got that right" He chirped in a cheerful tone, letting out a soft chuckle before urging the mare into a steady canter. Sebastian started looking at the jumps deciding which ones to do. When he finally settled on just doing the same course as the other rider had done. He cantered the mare a full lap around the arena before starting to approach the jump, he sat back as he started to feel the mare tense up and tried rushing to the jump. He simply executed a few half halts until they were a stride away from the jump, that's when he released the pressure and nudged his spurs asking for the jump. Aspen launched herself over the jump, jumping it like it was almost a 5ft jump. As soon as they landed she took off in the canter, her tail swishing behind her wildly. Sebastian sort of chuckled at his mares enthusiasm for the jumps as he sat back and started collecting her. He looked for the next jump and began to count his strides continuing to collect the mare as she was still quite fast. As the jumped approached Sebastian repeated the same steps, releasing forward and nudging her with the spur for encouragement. This time she sailed over the jump normally but once again the mare took off after the jump. Sebastian let her for a moment as they approached the line for the double jump. He started to collect her slowly, letting her go faster than as they approached the jump. This time though he released a tiny bit, enough for her to have her head but not enough so she could take off easily afterwards. As soon as the mare landed he felt her tail swish meaning she was about to take off once more but Sebastian was ready for it. He sat back, pulling on the reins collecting her mare fast this time. Aspen still had enough momentum though as he released and she sailed over the jump with ease. She landed taking off with a tail swish and a few bucks out of excitement. Sebastian chuckled and patted the mare "Good girl, you did well!" Sebastian exclaimed happily to his mare as he slowed her down to a walk, allowing her to take a break for a moment
