Julius and his father ate the beautifully seasoned meat of the deer, and later that night when to bed. Julius woke, he smiled, he hadn't gone to the city since a couple over years ago, it seemed to be a tradition him and his father shared, every 2 years they would go to the city in their old Ford mustang and spend they day looking around. Julius propped a tattered blue bag on his bed, and packed a bottle of water and a lucky charm made of silver beads with the phases of the moons he had got from his father, his father said it was a old gift from his mother. Julius swung the bag over his shoulder and walked out of his room, walking over to the Mustang where his father sat behind the steering wheel. "let's go!" Julius said, sitting in the front seat beside his father, to old car's engine purred to life as they drove down the drive way

Sage walked into the market. It was a really nice day. Plus she had run out of her calming tea. Walking around she smiled. She loved the little city she called her home. When she was younger her father had told her he meet her mother in the city. Walking toward the fresh food market something caught her eye. She went to go investagate and saw that a woman was selling something that looked oddly familiar. It was a weaving of the five symbols of Athena. For some reason Sage recoginzed it.

Julius watched the window until they pulled up in a car park not far from a nearby market, "Alright, we will stop for lunch, then head to the market, do a little picking, and then travel the city!" His father said, getting out of the car, Julius got out of the car too and grabbed his bag, which was light. Julius followed his father into a pub across the road, they stopped and ate some food, sipping it down with some alcohol. Julius followed his father down the streets to the market, which the music Julius was sure you hear from at least a mile away.

sage sat at a stand she was talking to her friend amy. She watched as people walked by. Her long black hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail. She was still looking at the weaving.

Julius walked through the market, along the point he had pulled the Charm from his bag and was touching the phases to the moon, his fingers paused on a very slim moon, and traced its shape with his finger. Julius looked over at his dad, who was staring at the charm as if it held secrets. Julius smiled at him, "what's wrong dad?" He asked, his dad shook his head and smiled back, "nothing" he said, walking into the plain sight of the market, but he was looking around as if there were danger, "dad, what wrong? Nothings going to hurt us" he said

Julius heard a whisper beside him, 'Artemis' it said, Julius looked around in confusion and saw a girl with grey eyes and black hair, he studied her, her expression was as if she knew something about the world that no other knew, Julius was about to speak to her when his father pulled him under a shade, his father was staring at the sky, Julius frowned, "Dad-" his father shushed him, his skin a odd shade of grey, like he was going to be sick

Sage looked at the boy. There was something about him. Maybe it was the charm. Or maybe it was the way his dad pulled him away. She didn't know but she was going to find out. She walked over. "Is something wrong?" She asked addressing the older man

Julius looked at his father who payed no heed to the young girl, Julius tilted his head at her, "who are you?" He asked, his attention then turned back to his father, who was still staring at the sky, "it will be safe at dusk.." he whispered

"my name is sage." sage spoke softly "I can help if you'll tell me what's wrong." Sage had a feeling about these two that she could not explain.
