"Never out of the main area." she said. "They always said that it was too dangerous!" Aspen snorted. At that moment a bug decided to climb on her fur, so she shook it off.

Socureth grinned at the tan wolfess. "Too dangerous, hmm? Well, then... let me ask you one question... have you seen it as dangerous so far?" Socureth asked.

|
"Nope." she answered truthfully, "so far the most dangerous thing I have seen was a rabbit." Her eyes were wide and curious, these people seemed nice.

Socureth looked towards his brother, who nodded, realizing his twin brother's intended scheme. "Well, seeing as it's getting late, how about we let you stay in our den for the night? The more rested you are, the more energy you have for exploring the forest." Xenophon suggested, hoping that she'd comply.

"Ok." the young wolf responded. Her parents never even noticed her, so they couldn't get mad, if they never even knew she left! Of course, she would have to sneak back in but, she'd survive. And these wolves seemed very nice.

Socureth nodded, and subtly. A question raised their minds, and this question would leave many puzzled in the days to come... Just who was this wolfess? Why did she seem like she had this pup like innocence about everything? Didn't she suspect a trap? Was she a thrill seeker, or was she raised so sheltered that she was naive to the Darkseeker ways? Then again, their leader Frenicks wasn't exactly the most dishonest of Darkseekers. In fact, he was more LightBringer in his actions at times, though he had his dark and morbid moments... sorry it's short, my brain is half gone today, I had a show yesterday in the blazing heat. - She slowly followed them, wondering what her best friend, Layla, would think.

(It's okay. I've been busy with a debate with a guy named Ken Ater on a Facebook group known as Christian Apologetics. Didn't expect to get into a debate about whether or not the Bible copied from the Akkadian Epics on Facebook.) The scouts soon arrived at the main area of the pack grounds, and it was there that Aspen's eyes were greeted by the sight of the corpulent, cow colored Alpha Male that was the wolf named Frenicks. The male's fur was unique in its color scheme. Black and white, and reminding her of descriptions of certain cows that her parents had told her about, which the humans called a "Dutch-Belted". His eyes were like gemstones, and his demeanor warm like the morning sun.

She followed until they got to the main area, where she backed up. Something didn't feel right. Like she was not holding up to what she agreed to do, for the Lightseekers. "I don't think that this is a good idea anymore." she calmly told the two wolves, "I think I want to go home."

"And why don't you think this is a good idea anymore?" Socureth asked, his tone growing a little more sinister as Frenicks stood up from where he sat, having been telling a story to the pups of his pack. He looked over at the group of scouts and saw the tan colored wolfess among them.
