(Oh yeah... wow, Ajax is literally a foot taller then her XD) - Ajax's black eyebrows furrowed a little, but he slowly came fully back to consciousness. -Stupid human had to ram into me with a club then shoot me- He thought grumpily, glancing around to see if anyone was still there. Of course no one was... because he had flown a couple miles. -Memory loss warning- Ajax thought sarcastically, then focused on the sight in front of him. An actual angel... were they always that short, or was that just this one? He hadn't seen many angels, but he knew all the demons despised them and tried to get rid of them. Ajax had never met one, so he didn't judge quite yet. "Okay I will not thank you or apologize again." He responded with a sarcastic tone, not being able to help himself. When Ajax could say something funny, sarcastic, or just a little rude... he dove through the opening head first. He looked a little bit grumpy as Mercy brought up what had happened again, crossing his arms. "I'm feeling just fine now." Ajax responded, studying the angel carefully.

I know! I made it that way because I figured it would be hysterical XD)) Mercy smiled at his sarcasm. "Good. I hate being thanked for things." She responded, a bit sarcastic herself. Mercy flicked her hair over her shoulder, stretching her wings ti their full extent and gently flapping them, absentmindedly as she inspected him. "I would hate for this to sound rude, but... what are you?" She asked lightly, searching his face as if it would give her an answer. She didn't mind his height, it wasn't intimidating to her. Just slightly inconvenient. "Im glad. I would hate to have to heal a concussion after everything else." She said sarcastically, flicking her hair over her shoulder.

"Alright. But I was being serious about the whole what are you question. Ive never seen anything like you." She said, looking specifically at his wings, almost in admiration. "You have beautiful wings." She added, beggining to walk around him in circles, observing him in curiousity. She tucked her own wings in, trying ti compare them.

Ajax was a bit wary at this point... not scared, never. He was never scared in his life. Just... interested, and curious. As she asked her question he raised his eyebrows a little, almost barking a laugh but muffling it so just a chuckle came out. "Oh you didn't recognize your sworn enemy?" He asked sarcastically, though tilted his head and snorted at her last sentence. "You didn't have to heal me. I would have been fine." he pointed out. Ajax let his gaze flick around as Mercy circled him. He hated that feeling... the one like he was being studied, and judged. "Well madam cunning, I am a demon. And my wings are obviously intersting." Ajax said slowly, his voice a little stiff... though he never really though about what his wings looked like. They were giant and hard to fit into small spaces was about all he knew. The wings were pitch black with silver streaks and silver tips... interesting for a demon, since they usually never had any color but black and dark grey.

"No. I don't have a sworn enemy. Other angels might, but not me." She shrugged, continuing to walk around him. "You might have been fine, but it's my job, isn't it? To heal, to protect?" She tilted her head at his wings again, a look of admiration on her face. She ran her fingers gently across the bottom of them to feel the feathers, stopping in front of him again. "I don't think you give them enough credit. Look at them, theyre stunning." She tilted her head at them, her own wings remained gently folded at her back. They were a pristine white, gilded with a shiny golden color that streaked its way throughout them, as well as residing on the tips. "I've only ever seen one demon, and it- he- didn't look anything like you. You're quite the improvement."

-Ah good. She won't freak out or try to kill me as soon as she realizes what I am- Ajax thought, rather thankful he didn't have to escape or put his amazing fighting abilities to the test yet again. -Okay, but it is kind of creepy how she is staring at my wings. OF COURSE I don't give them enough credit, they're WINGS- He thought, glancing at Mercy. Ajax couldn't help but flinch/twitch away as she touched his wings, listinging to her words. "You're right, I don't give them enough credit... because they are quite unhelpful when I'm trying to hide or fit into small spaces." Ajax snorted. "Then again... I don't fit into small spaces without them..." He added in a musing mumble, mostly to himself. Mercy's wings were stunning as well, and much brighter than Ajax's. "An improvement? Ah what's the word for that, a compliment? I can tell you are an angel... if a demon gave a compliment in front of any other demons they would probably be beheaded. Then tortured, most likely. Lemme say, be thankful for the life you have." Ajax sighed, his wings twitching closer to his body. "But you are correct, most demons look nothing like me. I'm the outlaw, outcast, rogue, whatever you want to call me. I don't follow their rules, don't listen to them, and don't obey their king." He finished

"Trust me, I am." She chuckled at him. "So you're outcast because you're... a decent person?" She looked at him, just the slightest bit of pity crawling into her expression. "That doesn't sound right." She said, fluttering her wings in slight distress at the unfairness of his situation.

Ajax tilted his head, again reminding himself she was an angel and never saw hell... or the demon king... or probably half the terrible things going on down there. "Exactly. You catch on quickly." He answered, then wrinkled his nose slightly. "But don't you DARE pity me I get along just fine." Ajax added, glancing around again. For some reason his mind wandered to his ranch... the one that was now thankfully run by his best friend. -I could have lived so much longer, gave the ranch to my son, seen it prosper. I HATE DYING- Ajax thought with a slight huff
