Azar sniffed, hearing the faint sound of paws hitting the ground and what could only be hooves. It could be another wolf, or a human, but either way he decided to go snoop around and see what was happening. Quietly, he tried to be stealthy as he approached the place he heard the sound coming from. Upon brandishing his body from underneath leaves and webs he caught sight of another wolf chowing down on a carcass, and tilted his head in curiosity. He knew the other pack that stayed nearby his own, and had come across his fair share of loners who'd thought he was one of them, but never had he seen this one before.

Midway through eating his deer, he caught the scent of the wolf, The scent...its closer than before, I cant tell if they're a pack wolf, I suppose I'll just hope they arent. Looking around, He caught sight of the wolf that was attempting to be stealthy. Aether hadn't seen this loner wolf before. "You new around here?" he huffed, "Here, You won't last very long out here if you don't take territory, These packs are taking all the land." He beckoned toward the fawn, and then towards the land where the strong barrier markers were radiating from. It was clearly easy to smell as a light breeze drifted by every so often, carrying the scent with it as it whipped by him, Ruffling his uniquely colored coat. Azar didn't answer, only staring before he heard a loud howl, followed by a few more and turned back towards the sound. He knew what it was. It was his pack, calling him home, and even though he was given more freedom than others he didn't want to necessarily upset the alphas. He stopped for a moment though, looking back at the loner." There's better kill in our territory, you look like you could use something other than fawn." He grumbled as he eyed the wolves physique, deeming him not broad enough." I'll bring them to you tomorrow."
And then he was quickly rushing to get back to his own border. And what he lacked in stealth he made up for in size and speed, so it took him no time at all to return to his pack grounds where the others sniffed him, wondering where he'd been today.

He growled at the wolf's offer, "I can feed myself!" He snapped as the wolf ran off towards the howling that has entered the air, Must be their packmates. It's good they didn't see me, Hopefully he won't let them know I'm here. He nervously finished off his fawn and trotted back to his dip/den in the ground, He has lined it with skulls from his biggest kills, Like a moose, a buck, and A hawk, Obviously, the moose was already injured... he ate very well that night, But that wolf interested him, Apparently, he was a pack wolf, But he didn't immediately chase him off? Maybe this wolf had been a loner previously, No... He wasn't sure, But sleep slowly took him as his eyes shut.

Azar stood guard as the rest of his pack fell asleep, wondering about the line wolf he'd seen earlier. They really weren't familiar at all, which was still surprising.
Grumbling, he decided to take a quick walk through the border.

Aether awoke in the morning, Somehow he had ended up on the other side of his den, He didn't think much of it, Aether exited his den and walked over to the small body of water, grabbed a small drink, and got the blood out of his fur from his kill last night. Aether stalked up on a bird and snapped his jaws down on it, killing it easily and swallowing it in one gulp. Aether stalked carefully around the grounds, remembering what that wolf said, maybe he could catch a better breakfast on their territory, So carefully, He stepped over their boarder, Leaving a scent trail behind him as he looked for prey.

Azar huffed as he stretched, lazily licking at his paws as he sat besides the elk carcass he and few other wolves had taken down. He did most of the chasing and the biting though, and it showed with how exhausted he was. Regardless, he licked his lips as he stood, beginning the long process of dragging the carcass closer to the pack, atleast to where the pups felt safe wandering off to eat from it.

Aether was now in their territory, There was a small stream that strode off to the side, And he was eyeing a fairly plump Heron that stand near it. His fur stood out completely from the grass, That's why he relied on his sharp fangs to finish the job. Aether leaned down into the grass, walking forward, Then the bird lifted its wings...It heard me! With a large leap, He was able to bring the Heron down, It squawked loudly, which made him nervous..what if it alerted the pack? he tried to push that thought away as he quickly put the bird out of its misery.
