Tyler let the star off her throat. "I'm sorry, I just don't take kindly to outsiders." He said, then noticed his hand was red with blood where he had been holding her still. "What happened?" He asked, seeing a little dagger sticking through her side. His mind flashed back to when he cut the rope. Tyler winced. "I'm sorry, one moment." He muttered, knowing she couldn't run away in that condition. Knowing Raptor would hold her dog back, he ran into his little tree house and grabbed some medicine and a bandage. He also grabbed some cloths to stuff the hole with. "This is going to hurt. Here. He gave her a cloth to grab when he pulled the knife out so she didn't bite her own tongue off. Then, without asking for permission, he quickly pulled the knife out and stuffed rags into the wound. He trickled antibiotic ointment on it, then wrapped it in a clean cloth, all within a matter of seconds. He then backed up quickly in case she tried to hit him.

Regan watched the boy run off and moved to clutch onto her side, begging herself not to let out a string of curses, nor let the tears that were welling in her eyes fall. She was in pain, but she refused to let herself cry that way in front of some stranger. "You should be sorry," she growled bitterly, closing her eyes and letting out a string of curses when he pulled the small dagger from her side, which just made blood pool at her side and soak through her clothes. She didn't know what he was going, but it hurt, and her instant reaction to pain was to just be... well, angry she supposed. She hadn't meant for anything to come out so snappy, but she'd gotten a fright. When he jumped back, all she could do was lay there, clutching onto her side. She could hear the dog whimpering as she tried to get around the larger dog, but even that sound was fading out.

Tyler saw her start to black out, so he ran and got some poppy seed. He put it on her wound it it started numbing it until she barely could feel any pain. Then he wrapped it back up, his face worried. "Uh.. are you okay?" He asked, glancing at her dog which seemed like it wanted to kill him. "Good boy Raptor" he said queasily, looking back to the girl. The bleeding had stopped after he out the bandage on, and he out that plant on to numb it so it should be feelings better...

Regan took a couple of deep breaths when he tried to tend to her wound, just trying not to let herself pass out. It hurt, but he was helping, so she had to try and hold her tongue, at least a little bit. "No, not really," she murmured, going back to rest a hand on her side as if that would help. She didn't know what he had put on her, but it was easing the pain... which was a bit of a relief. "I'm sorry," she whispered after a little while... he seemed decent enough. She wasn't overly used to people out here being friendly, so it was a little bit of a surprise to her.

"No I'm sorry. The traps were meant to catch animals with that weird virus, but it accidentally caught you and your dog. I shouldn't have let it down so fast, I just was wary you were going to hurt me." Tyler explained, looking slightly guilty and very sad. "I'll tell my dog to let your come if you promise she won't kill me..." he offered, looking warily towards the wining, snarling canine.

Regan shook her head a little bit when the boy apologised once more. Well, she wasn't going to refuse the apology. She looked past the boy, towards Millie who by now was sat in place, her upper lip curled in a kind of growl towards the other dog. She just seemed frustrated she couldn't get to Regan. "She'll be alright," she promised quietly before shaking her head. She thought back to his earlier questioning before sighing. "I'm Regan," she murmured quietly. When her companion was allowed to come to her she stalked over before her eyes locked onto her handler, and her tail shot between her legs as she ran over, sniffing the girl before she started to lick her face, her tail slowly starting to wag through her body, which copped a bit of a smile from Regan.

Raptor backed off, still looking u happy about this new acquaintance. He growled lowly. "SH, Raptor." Tyler ordered, and the dog shut its mouth. Tyler looked at the girl. "I'm Tyler, and it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry we had to meet this way." He apologized once more. When he did something wrong, he was the kind of guy to feel really bad... even after the person forgave him (not saying you did). "This is Raptor." Tyler gestured towards the black dog. "Don't worry about him, on the outside he may be steel but on the inside he's like a stuffed animal." The dog shit him a furious glare but that was it. Tyler stifled a laugh.

The young woman looked to the boy for a moment blinking once or twice before shaking her head. "I- it's alright. Thank you," she murmured quietly as she glanced to her side, Millie, the dog, who was sitting in her lap, sniffed Regan's side as the metallic scent of blood filled the air. She looked to the dog behind him, who just seemed grumpy as of then. "Charming," she murmured before patting her own canine companion on the side. "This is Millie," she then added gently. She was still a bit antsy... if this boy turned on her, she wasn't exactly fit enough to turn heel and run right then... not now, at lease. Her hands were still shaking from the shock of it all, and she didn't think she'd fare well standing up too soon.

Tyler noticed how much the girl was shaking. "Okay, I feel bad and I owe you this much. Come inside and I'll build a fire, then you can get some rest. I'll sleep out here." He added, knowing that would have might make her uncomfortable. "I insist." He said, going into the roots. Now, it was weird what happened with these. The tree tore itself part of the way out of the ground, but then grew new roots on the other side and on this side, so now it was Stable. It was at a crooked angle, though. The tree roots made kind of a cave, with a spot actually under the tree that you couldn't see from above, and then a spot more out in the open that's the roots just went AROUND. Tyler had hacked away all the one star in the middle, and cut an entrance so the roots made a wall. Then he intertwined leaves in so you couldn't see through it. All in all, it was pretty safe. There was also a little lookout perch about twenty feet up in the tree. Tyler went inside, building a fire within minutes. He brought out some blankets, laid them on the ground, then came back out. "I hope that's warms you up." He murmured, going to the other side of the clearing to lay down. He was shivering harshly because the cold night air was setting in, but when Raptor lay on top of him, he felt warmer

Regan watched the boy scuttle off, but couldn't help the guilty look across her face. "I can make it back to-" but by the time she started to talk, he'd disappeared into the little hole. She soon saw the slight smoke from a new fire coming from the space before sighing. "Are you sure? It's not particularly safe," she murmured. She didn't want anything bad to happen... she'd been sort of rude, and he'd been nothing but nice for some reason. It was a surprise... but she knew she wouldn't really make it back to her own little shack, not when she was struggling to move. She was still a bit weary of him though... he was being nice, of course, but she certainly wasn't used to it. She'd just have to be ready for whatever might happen. "This is very kind of you," she noted before crawling towards the little space, her dog close behind her and curling around the girl once she'd gotten comfortable... or as comfortable as she could while she had a wound in her side.
