| medical students are an entirely different beast. my mom would talk about her clinic work at the dinner table sometimes and my poor brother did not have the stomach for it. he had to study like parasites and stuff for high school biology and just could Not (understandable but also RIP) |

| In my personal experience, bones were ok to worth with. It was just the cadavers that made me feeling a bit funky. Bc their faces were cut open or they’d have skin removed around just the jaw, or their eyelids removed. It was very confronting to see. Thinking that they were once a real person |

| I'll get the chance to work with bones at least this summer though, the dig site has burials associated with it and they're training me in osteology. I've never worked with human remains though, so not sure how I'll feel about it until I'm there |
