Amber sat in a tree, catching her breathe. Her eyes darting around her then she spots it, her meal is back in sight. She runs to grab her bow and arrows to take it down, On the way she braids her hair as she thinks of a plan and choosing which knife to finish the kill off with.

Sage ran after the girl and once he got her in his sights he trailed behind her quietly. If Death had told him to follow her, that meant something was going to happen to the girl and he would have to take her soul.

Amber took her shot with the arrow and got the wild boar in the front leg Ack I missed the head she muttered to herself. The wild boar growled and she jumped down taking out a knife to finish the animal off. They have a bit of a fight, Amber winning of course but the teeth of the boar left a few wounds with blood seeping out. Amber feels light headed You're losing blood! Just get out of sight, stitch yourself up then get the beast for food later she thought to herself Amber staggers around slightly, weakly trying to pull herself up a tree.

Sage sighed. This was where he took her soul and the foolish mortal died. He reached a hand out and started to take her soul, and then stopped. Death was a fool, and Sage hated him, so why not save a life instead of take one? He slipped over to the girl, who was obviously dying, and shook his head before grabbing her, throwing her over his shoulder, and using his fire type powers to cauterize her wounds as he walked

Amber stirs slightly noticing she is moving without walking. Her wounds not feeling as sore anymore.
She struggles to get free when she saw feet as she looked down. She wriggled and squirmed but she still weak.

Sage set the girl down under a tree, knowing she would rest easier if she thought he was gone. He climbed a tree near her after making a small fire to keep her warm.

Amber falls asleep with the warmth of the fire, no strength to run but the boy seemed to have disappeared. She wakes up after a while and immediately searches for her knifes and finds one in her boot. She stands up with little balance and begins walking zig zag back to where she killed the boar, not noticing the boys presence

Sage sighed and walked on the tree branches above the girl. "If you keep pushing yourself, you're not going to live to eat the pig," he called down to her. "and I'm not going out of my way to save you twice."

Amber froze with hearing the sound of the boys voice. She stood incredibly still for a few seconds before darting off further into the forest only to stumble and fall not far from where the boy was in the trees. Amber put her back up against a tree, heart beating fast, her breathing was even faster. She scrambled around to get her knife to protect herself, she couldn't run so she had to fight.

Sage sat down the the branch with a sigh. Why did mortals have to be so stubborn? He was even in his human form, so she shouldn't be too scared of him. Ish. Although, he would have decided to fight too if it were him. He assessed the girl but stayed in the tree, seeing if she really wanted to attack him or if she was just scared
