Alex noticed her smiling at him and she disappeared from view the next second. Why did he feel a little down when he couldn’t see her any more? What was it about her? Stuffing those thoughts into the back of his mind he continued jogging back to his apartment. After he got back he took a nice cold shower and changed his pants. Going into his room he grabs his phone and throws himself on the bed. Mindlessly scrolling through social media he doesn’t see anything that really interests him so he sets his phone aside yet stays on the app so that anyone would know he’s online. Grabbing his computer he starts to do some company work. His father had been around a lot lately due to his deteriorating health and he had to pick up some more pressing issues. Usually the CEOs first born son would take over the company but the board would only expect him if he had a started family or at least a few wife. Putting the computer away he pulls the blanket over his lower half and leans back, putting his hands behind his head. |

Stephanie sighed as she placed her phone aside after seeing enough for tonight soon drirfting to sleep as she still thought a bit about the young man that was jogging that afternoon but it didn't last long untill she drifted to sleep the next morningkinda started like any other dumb excuse notes empty house and grabbing a sandwhich and getting ready when she walked out she dashed into the limo once again as she placed her navy blue bag on the ground of the car as she silently tapped on her knees as she scrolled on her phone once she arrived she decided not to get out so fast and just acted normaly and just kept her head down as she hauled her bag on her shoulder she sighed when she got out she wouldn't dare to look but but glanced up a few seconds too make sure she wouldn't run into anythig and made her way to her locker as she started to put her stuff away and grab some books soon making her way to her fist class she once again walked to the back of the class as she got her book out and silently tapped the desk still not making any contact with her class mates when they started coming in more specifically the young man that was jogging yesterday afternoon. |

Alex woke up bright and early to a comforting silence. Patting the side of the bed he searches for his phone. Not finding it he looks over the side and sees it laying on the floor. Picking it up he turns it over, seeing it’s dead he gets out of bed and goes to the kitchen and checks the time. “Shit” he says as he realizes that he was almost late for school. Quickly hopping in the shower and throwing on his uniform he bolts out the door. For some reason he slept so well that he missed his alarm. Jumping in the car he makes the short drive to school with minutes to spare. As he walks to his locker most of the other students are already in class. Eventually he makes it to class only to see their teacher isn’t present and everyone is talking as they please. Walking over to his group of friends he notices Remi isn’t with them. “Hey where is Remi?” Alex asks as he looks around the room. His friend Briggs smiles as he sits on the top of his desk. “Where do you think?” Rolling his eyes he decides to just sit at his desk. Soon the teacher returns and the class starts. |

Stephanie sighed as she took notes she glanced around as some others were coming in soon catching sight of Alex she heard his name what she guessed one of his friends she shook her head at the thought as she continued taking notes she tapped her knee impatienty as she looked at the board watching the teacher come in she rested her head on the desk but only untill the teacher started to explain todays plans she took a quick glance at Alex and sighed in relief when the class ended she was the first to walk out with her head down and quick pace she quickly grabbed her things from her locker as she caught sight of Alex again she made her way to her limo she rested on the rim of the door as she felt the car start to pull out she wondered if Alex my jog near her house again but what she was most worried about was people soon finiding out her secret of her imortality... |

After school Alex decides to jog home seeing as the weather was good. After changing in the locker room into a workout shirt and shorts he takes off. Today he decides to take the longer route to his apartment (passing right by Stephanie’s house) to get a more vigorous workout in. As he jogs he listens to the satisfying sound of his feet hitting the pavement and the smooth flow of traffic going by next to him. As he passes an alleyway (just by Stephanie’s house) he hears a quiet whimpering noise coming from a dumpster. Curious he walks over and to his surprise there are two German Shepherd puppies sitting in a burlap bag whimpering to each other and shivering. He thought they couldn’t be more than a few weeks old. Picking them up he holds them tightly to his chest and looks around to see who could have done this but to no avail. Shaking his head he continues to walk with the puppies in his arms. Eventually he decides to rest on a bench (right in front of her house on the opposite side of the sidewalk) and put the puppies in his lap taking off his shirt and wrapping them up in it to try and get them warm. |

Stephanie made it home around 3:50 she yawned aas she stepped out she caught sight of alex and quickly walked away she didn't really know why when he would see her in so many other lives he may have she sihed when she got into the house she banged her elbow she stepped back in pain she walked to the kitchen as she grabbed some ice and rubbed it on her elbow she grumbled to herself as she walked up stairs as started to scroll on her social media she sighed again as the thought of alex finding out came into her head she slammed the top of the laptop she went to her closet and grabbed her pj's she got into bed and thought about what would happen if her secret was uncovered she finched at the thought but she managed to get some sleep atleast because the thought finnaly decided to not to mess with her head, |

Not really knowing what to do he stayed on the bench for a while before gathering the pups up again and heading back to his apartment. Finding one of his cat's old cat beds in a closet he sets it up in the living room in a little corner since he never needed a cage or playpen for his cat. Then taking them into the bathroom he gives them a short bath that they seemed to enjoy. After placing them in the cat bed he goes into his room, changes into a different pair of sweats and lays down to scroll on his phone. He was scrolling through for probably 20 minutes before he gets a friend suggestion notification and thinking he’s got nothing better to do he clicks in the profile. The picture shows a pretty girl smiling at the camera then he looks at the name. Stephanie Renolds. The same as the new girl that had transferred to his school. She didn’t have much in her profile so he took her as more of a private person but he shrugged and sent her a friend request. It couldn’t hurt right? He asked himself. I mean they went to the same school. After scrolling through for another minute or two he set his alarm and put his phone on his bedside table before pulling his comforter over him and turning over on his side to sleep. |

Stephanie woke up to a notication on ehr phone she grumbled but picked it up she slight jumped back in her bed when she saw it was from Alex she looked a bit closer she covered her mouth when she saw he wanted to be friends her mind raced like no bodys buisness she sighes=d and colllected herself she clicked accept as quickly got out of bed as she face palmed herself "how why did i do it im..different" she said to herself as she got out of bed and stared to pack and get ready she thought about talking to him but she felt way to nervous too so be decided to just let him come to her at school today she nodded at the thought as she continued to get ready she walked to the limo with a uneasy expression on her face as she closed the door to the limo she rested her head on the rim as she started to scroll on her phone and sighed when she reached school she made her way to the lockers as she sighed and slight;ly frowned as she grabbed her stuff and hoped that Alex would not bring it up if he did come up to her. |

Getting to school a little bit earlier that day Alex leans on the hood of his car and watches as cars and students slowly start coming into the parking lot and the front courtyard of the school. Since the school year was only two days from being over and summer is beginning to start homeroom is the only class they had today which was for the underclass men was scheduling for the next year but for the seniors such as Alex it's basically doing graduation prep, saying goodbye to teachers and friends and just hanging out. So as he walks into the home room wearing his usual grey business suit everyone is buzzing with excitement. People are talking about college apps and trips being taken with friends on the last summer before most of them would go off to college. Going over to his friends he sits on a desk with one of his feet on the chair and the other hanging off the edge of the desktop and checks his phone. Seeing the friend invite he sent Stephanie was accepted he smiled a bit and looked up to see her sitting at her desk involved in something. Looking back down he decides to DM her he types “Hey” and sends it. |

Stephanie looked over and gave him a faint smile and a wave and looked down as she slightly frowned she DMed him back "hey" the message read. she soon placed her phone away and started to write notes again and gave Alex a few more glances untill the class bell rung and she got up and walked into the hall as she made her way to the lockers once there she grabbed her bag and hauled it over her shoulder and puts some other books that are not important into her locker she sighed as she closed it and started to walk out of the building. |
