| It's the same with goats. As long as they're old + healthy enough, I've had no issues with cold turkey weaning. Usually, I keep kids until they're yearlings, so the dams end up weaning them naturally around 8-10 months old, but some of the less motherly have weaned their own kids as early as 3 months lol |
