"Oh thanks." Matt smiled, watching as she carried on speaking. He sighed, shaking his head with a smile. "Go for it. Feel free to use that against me any time you like." He joked, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek as he spoke. "Are we acually going back in or no? We would probably have to be quick." he asked, gesturing towards the sea. It was getting later, and therefore slightly rougher, but hardly anything to worry much about.

"Any time." Trixie chuckled, smiling brightly at him after he kissed her cheek before she responded to his comment. "I'll be sure to do just that, thank you." She joked, glancing at the water as he continued. "...meh. I changed my mind. Would you be alright to just... walk for a bit?" She asked lightly.

"What changed your mind?" He asked curiously, though he most definitely didnt have anything against Trixie wanting to walk, and not wanting to swim. Plus, it was getting slightly colder. He wrapped his arm around her waist, resting his fingers on her though he knew his hands were somewhat cold, giving her a warm smile.

"I don't honestly feel like it anymore. And you don't want to do it anyway. The only real reason I wanted to go back in was because Kiara interrupted us, and I, at least, was having fun. But its colder and rougher out now, so." Trixie shrugged nonchalantly, taking his question as a yes to invitation to walk. She smiled as he slid his arm around her, pleased with the coolness of his touch. She gently curled her arm around his waist in turn so it wasn't pressed between them, rubbing her thumb over his side and returning his smile.

"What makes you think I wasnt having fun?" Matt asked, frowning a little. He offered a warm smile at the end of his sentence, masking the frown he had portrayed carefully. "Doesn't matter, we can just walk." he added, watching as her arm curled around his waist. He glanced up at a couple people wandering past, only then realising how empty that part of the beach was becoming. "At least there's a lot less people here now." he mumbled, seemingly just thinking out loud.

"I dunno, the fact that you dislike the sea. I don't want to drag you places you don't want to be, and the ocean is one of them. Either way." Teixie shrugged softly, nodding at him and giving him a slightly grateful smile as they moved off the subject. She glanced around and nodded in agreement at his observation, leaning her head on his shoulder. "The less, the better."

"I literally..Right. Never mind." Matt mumbled, looking down at the sand as it crumbled around his feet. He nodded at her reply to his observation, smiling warmly. "Definitely. Less chance of not so random people spying on us that way" he said, looking up to step over a couple pieces of washed up wood. Once they reached the turning to the busier part of the beach, he turned to Trixie, giving a weak smile. "Do you wanna carry on?" he asked.
"Mm, less of a chance of judgemental grandmothers, you mean?" Trixie joked, stepping lightly over the pieces of wood before turning her attention back to him and smiling. "Whatever you'd like to do is fine with me." She shrugged, turning and pressing a light kiss to his cheek. "We can keep walking or head home, or something else. Whatever you prefer."
"Well that too." Matt grinned, stopping as they decided which to do. He took the chance to lean against the cold stone wall, grateful for something to cool him down slightly. "We should head back. Less chance of having Kiara spring up on us out of nowhere." he sighed, glancing around cautiously. "Did she say at any point how she knew we were here? Like did she say she saw us or anything?" he asked, frowning slightly.
"Sounds good to me." Trixie nodded, leaning against the wall at his side with a smile. She tilted her head at his question, thinking back cautiously for a moment. Her brow furrowed slightly and frowned before she answered. "She said she saw us leave. She lives a few houses down. I don't know if she followed us or what, but that's kind of what it sounded like." She answered quietly, as if simply speaking about it would make Kiara pop into existence beside them.
