Kiara seemed to listen and pick up every single word of what Trixie had said, but she could only run it through her head and pretend she was too stupid to actually understand. It left an uncomfortable silence before she actually got her words out, which probably would have been preferred to what she was about to say. "Right. You really don't remember huh?" She asked, tilting her head a little. She stopped as they reached the breakwater, stepping over it gently. "We never dated but..it might aswell have been that. You cant really count like six or seven times as a one night stand anyway." she started, kicking up the sand underfoot. "Anyway, he was a prick. He was like, rude to everyone except me, and for a little Ava too, and then you came along and that kinda just..changed." She huffed, stopping to turn to Trixie. "I'm not chasing him. I just want him to remember the..times we had together. They were good" she smiled, twirling her hair around her finger. "And you and me, too. They were good, for the short time you were actually here." she finished, watching the sea.

Trixie simply walked on in silence- her emotions between nervousness and frustration. She stepped over the breakwater lightly, adjusting her bikini to preoccupy herself as Kiara spoke. "No. I really don't." She answered back bluntly, shaking her head. It was the truth. She winced at her next words, glancing at the ocean. She had to force herself out of the cloud of jealousy that started to descend. It was a past life. Neither of them would ever remember, so it didn't really matter, right? She stayed silent and listened to Kiara speak quietly, her gaze settled on the horizon in front of her. She glanced over at Ava in puzzlement as she went on. Matt, a prick? He was a bit of a prick when he was angry, but that was rather rare. She frowned and mulled the information over in her head, her dislike for Kiara temporarily forgotten. It kicked back in slightly as she continued, but she stopped and faced her anyway, frowning. "...right." She nodded quietly, glancing back down the beach toward Matt. "I just... he's all I have. I almost lost him too many times already, and I..." She paused in thought, turning her gaze back to Kiara. "Well, I'd rather be over cautious. Thank you for talking with me, anyway. I'll... well, maybe we can catch up sometime. But I don't think either of us are really going to get our memories back." She shrugged. "I should get back to him. We can talk later, if you like?" She finished quietly, beginning to walk backwards toward their previous spot on the beach.

Kiara had fully expected someone overblown clapback from Trixie once she had finished speaking, and so had planted her feet in the ground, leaning against the cold stone wall behind them incase she needed to dip round it if either of them lashed out. Instead, Trixie sounded, for the most part, like she was about to cry. Kiara didnt feel sympathy, but at least she didnt need to argue. "Oh right." she started, watching the sea lap closely at their feet. She kicked up a bit of water, adjusting her hair briefly. "I'm not going for your boyfriend anyway. You'll have to be careful though, there's a lot of girls round here who would, he's not exactly a bad looking guy. I just, like I said, wanna see if he remembers." She shrugged, her sentence sounding rather insensitive. "Happily. I live like, five houses down from where I saw you leave earlier, so just come find me if you actually need me." She said, turning t walk the other way. She stopped and turned herself round, giving a rather fake smile. "I assume you two are always together so..Doesnt matter. But good luck." She said, giving a sarcastic wave before making her way up the stone stairs, towards a small cafe.

Trixie's dislike returned almost full force, transitioning into what was almost disdain at her lack of... care over the situation. She didn't respond to much of what she said, too eager to be out of the situation. "Right. Thanks." She said flatly as Kiara finished, sighing and turning on her heel to step over the breakwater. She mulled what she had heard over in her mind, then shook her head and broke out into a light jog toward him. She curled her arms around him from behind as she arrived, smiling faintly as if she could force herself back into a good mood, as unsettled as she was. "Guess who." She said sarcastically, pressing a light kiss against the side of his neck.

Matt looked up in slight surprise as someone wrapped their arms around him, feeling relieved when he realised who it was. He put his hand on hers as she kissed his neck, turning to pull her down next to him. "Hey." he said softly, giving back the same kiss quickly. "How did it go with Kiara? I assume you havent killed her just yet?" he asked jokingly, wrapping his arms gently around her waist. He had been worrying a significant amount about what wuld have gone on in that conversation, so he was grateful for the fact she had returned seemingly not angry.

Trixie chuckled slightly as he tensed in her arms, gently running her thumb along his side as he relaxed. She moved for him lightly, smiling as he mirrored her kiss. She curled her arms around him in turn, smiling softly at his joke. "Oh, her body is just back there in a bush. You assumed incorrectly." She said sarcastically, giving a sigh before she gave him the real answer. "It... went. Passive aggresive comments about you, and how she used to sleep with you, how you were a prick... blah, blah. Apparently I should be keeping you on a tight leash, too, because you're... 'Not a bad looking guy', and women will chase you. Then again, I've already learned my lesson over that." She faded off, cuddling into his arms. "Anyway. If you really wanna know details, I'll give them to you. It's just that barely any of it made sense to me, most of it was just babble about how we used to be here. I can't imagine how, though."

Throughout Trixie's explanantion, Matt was unsure of which feeling to portray. Surprise? Frustration? Skeptical? In the end, he decided on all three. "I can't say I remember ever sleeping with her but whatever floats her boat." He mumbled, tracing small patterns in the sand as if that would magically bring his memory back. He listened tentatively to the rest of her explanation, settling on not saying much in return after she had finished. "Everything she's said just sounds like bullshit. I feel like maybe we look vaguely like others she's seen, or imagined if she's gone crazy, and she's ran with it. Its not like thats impossible, anyway. Anything seems possible in this place." He sighed. After a couple seconds of silence, so he could shift and adjust the edge of thr towel, he carried on speaking. "If there's anythin you think important, other than that i couldnt care less what she says. Just ignore her." he finished, smiling lightly.

Trixie gently settled her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes and letting out a little sigh. "That makes me feel better." She chuckled softly, gently rubbing her hand over his back in circles. "I mean, it does. Part of me can't help but wonder if she is telling the truth, though." She muttered quietly, smiling softly at his last words. "Alright. You don't have to tell me twice." She teased, lifting her head to press a kiss to his cheek. "I love you." She said softly, holding his gaze as she spoke.

"Me too. Even if she was telling the truth, we would never remember anyway. It would quite literally be her word as a thing of the past." He sighed, smiling as she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I love you too." he said softly, pressing the same soft kiss, except to her lips, pulling away before she could reciprocate. "Do you wanna go back in the sea? Walk? Or leave?" He asked, giving a soft smile.

Trixie leaned gently into his kiss, tilting her head as he pulled away too quickly for her to return it. "I want you to give me a proper kiss, then I want to go back in for a little while since our time got cut short." She teased, leaning closer to him. "So just do that again, but better this time." She joked, waiting for him to kiss her in a playful way.
