Sage just sat down next to her. "At least rest for a bit, even if you can't sleep," he noted

Amira nodded, slipping into sleep

Sage sat with her the whole time, eventually laying down next to her. Not sleeping, just laying there, being with her.

Sage lay there until a doctor beckoned for him. He had some paperwork that needed to be filled out before they could go home, so he did that and returned to Amira and their room, packing up their things quietly.

Amira woke while he was packing, blinking sleepily. "Can we go home now?" She muttered, her voice thick with sleep

Sage looked over at her and chuckled with a nod. 'yeah," he noted softly. "Wake up first a bit though."

Sage nodded. "Theyre bringing us back in a car from the hospital," he noted. They'd come in an ambulance so they didn't have a vehicle of their own here.
