Camery rolled her eyes at him, a pout across her face. She went to grab his pinky this time, as they walked. "That, my baby, is what we call a joke," she told him softly, leaning up to peck his cheek. She then hummed in thought, entwining her fingers back with his. "I think booking a room for an hour or two couldn't hurt," she mused softly to him. She was excited to see how the renovation was going, though... and of course to see the people.

Camery looked up at him with a sheepish looking smile, an almost apologetic one. She needed to stop making jokes like that. She knew he had very little concept of her humour, and it wasn't exactly his fault. When she noticed his slight blush, though, she just grinned. "You're so handsome." She noted with a hum, sort of leaning on him as they walked. "And that's not a joke," she promised lightly. It wasn't long until the construction site was in view... and she had to admit the place already looked so much better.

Cam followed him down happily, pretty much glued to him as he spoke to the contractors. She nodded along as though she knew exactly what they were saying, although it was pretty clear she just didn't have a clue. About anything, really. She held a polite smile to all of them, although she was well aware of the few dirty looks she got from the workers - even one or two of the contractors, actually. She sort of understood it. They were all nervy of the day folk, just as she was a bit nervy of them. The place was looking so much better, though... the streets were cleared up, and the few houses that had been fixed up looked amazing.

Cam followed him along happily. She hated being up in the castles... don't get her wrong, it was beautiful here, and Kai was amazing, but she'd felt the same back at home too. It was why you could sometimes find her sneaking out. But... she didn't like the looks she was getting from a few of the guys, and admittedly the only comfort she was getting was the comfort she had from being wrapped around Malakai's arm. Though, when he scooped her up and threw her over his shoulder, she couldn't help the slight squeak that escaped her, she didn't think he'd actually it, not right in fort of his people, anyway. "Malakai!" She hissed, although it was louder than intended and she admittedly couldn't stop her laughter. She fight him for a moment before just going limp over his shoulder, a dumb grin and a heavy blush spread cross her cheeks.

Camery couldn't help her amused giggles as he carried her along, her head bruied in her hands as she tried to hide the blush. This... well, you wouldn't see a princess getting carried around by her king anywhere else. There weren't many things that no one had done before, but this was almost definitely one of them. She went still as he walked them into the hotel, the realisation that her ass was essentially in the poor receptionists face just making her blush harder. When he dropped her on the bed, though, she giggled even harder, and sat up just a little, her hand reaching up to wrap around the back of his neck. "You're brave, hm?" She asked lightly.
