Kai smiled, holding her close. "Nothing until I hafta go downtown to oversee the construction around 2,"

Cam looked up at him hopefully at that comment. She'd been wanting to go down and have a look at the construction for... well, a while now. It'd be her kingdom at some point, right? She wanted to go see how everyone was, too... Malakais father had been far from nice, so she was excited to see how they were reacting to their new king. Hopefully well. Malakai was nothing but royalty. "Well... can I come?" She asked hopefully.

Kai smiled. "Of course,"

Kai got up too, getting dressed with her. He smiled, "Yeah, a little bit. There are still some rebels who don't approve," he sighed, "Yeah, I'm guessing most people assumed so already,"

Camery rolled her eyes at the idea of it. She supposed they'd think the same as her father did about it all... which, in all honesty, she still didn't understand. In what world would it not be good for them? For each of the kingdoms? She understood her people in the day kingdom being worried about it... after all, he had infiltrated the castle to get to her, but she'd done... well, she'd done nothing wrong. Only thing she'd done wrong to Kai was kiss him without meaning it, and even then she sort of did mean it. But the night kingdoms people? Yeah, she'd done nothing to put them at risk. She blew a strand of hair out of her face, then looked back over at him. "Sooo are we gonna get jumped?" She asked with a small chuckle. She wandered over to the mirror to fix her hair, then looked back over to him with a small smile. She walked back over, and did the last few buttons on his shirt up with a smile. "I mean it's the first time they would have actually seen us together. Of course they would have assumed something... but now we get to confirm it. And, I want you to be extra touchy because I want them to know you're all mine," she teased softly to him after a moment, leaning up to peck his lips before going to slip her shoes on.

Kai chuckled, "no, I'll make sure that won't happen," he reassured her, pulling on his shoes. He smirked, "Oh? Well then, should we get a hotel room for an hour or two and let everyone watch as I grab your ass and carry you up to our room?"

Cam threw him an amused glance at his first comment. She knew it wouldn't make that much of a difference... there were some crazy ass people out there. Hell, when they got caught in the night kingdom the day Kai took the throne, she thought some of the people might actually eat her alive. They looked like they damn well wanted to. "You never know. You better be alert, hey Mr. Bodyguard?" She mused. She wandered over to grab his hand, and they walked out the room and towards the gates at a rather leisurely pace.
She shot him a bit of a bewildered face at his comment, and giggled childishly. "Ohh, that's a fun idea. Although, I thought we agreed on celibacy, no?" She joked lightly. Despite her joking, the idea was... appealing, to say the least. "I think that's a great idea, actually. Throw me over your shoulder fireman style and see where we end up," she mused.

Kai definitely didn't agree to that. His smile disappeared, stomach dropping. He was young, in love and needy. If she wanted celibacy, he'd hafta figure something out to keep himself busy and satisfied that didn't include her, even when he desperately wanted her. "Oh...ok," he looked as his feet, disappointed. "...nevermind..."
