Sage hummed and nodded, picking his pen up again to finish up once the girl left. He scribbled some more stuff left over on the page and then decided to hop in the shower while Anya was gone. He showered quickly, then went right back to scribbling down notes and stuff for training. He'd work until Anya got back...he had a little while. He was glad she was coming though, it would be nice to be with the girl.

Ana quickly made her way back to her room and hopped in the shower before getting changed into something slightly comfier and picking up a little pile of papers. She dropped them off at her mother's desk before making her way back toward Sages... it would be good just to catch up for a bit. It had been a little while since they had actually spoken all that much, so she was looking forward to talking about... well, everything and nothing all at some time. The girl quietly opened the door to the boy's room and wandered over to his bed, perching on the side as she waited for the boy to finish off his... well, whatever he was doing.

Sage finished dribbling when he notice Anya come in. He finished his thought and then crawled over to the bed to flop down next to the girl with an exhausted huff. He was glad they could do this, though he was exhausted. "What have you been doing this past week," he murmured tiredly. He hoped she'd at least had a good time recently...it was easy to get too busy and stressed. (It's short lol)

The girl rolled her eyes ever so slightly at his question before flopping down onto her side. "My mother has me tending to some of her work," she shrugged quietly before giving a dry chuckle. "She says it'll be good for me - help prepare me, I suppose. So I dragged Luther along to help... prepare... the both of us." The girl let out a faint giggle before wrapping an arm around his waist to get comfortable. "I hear you've been busy, with the guard," she whispered, though it did kind of sound like she was making quite the effort to say so little.

Sage chuckled and turned to wrap his arms around the girl and cuddling up. "I suppose that's smart," he chuckled . "You're going to have to know it all soon anyway." He shrugged slightly and nodded. "They're been surprisingly nice," he admitted. "I think people are realizing that they need to step up and listen if they want to live," he sighed. "Though they'll be fine if muscle memory of hacking and bashing doesn't take over during the battle." He buried his head in her neck and closed his eyes wearily. "Its exhausting bossing people around," he chuckled sleepily.

Anya nodded silently, unable to help the impending sense of dread that was washing over her. The girl was scared... if not then terrified of what would be going on in the future. Not just her future with Luther, but also the slightly nearer scare of this whole rebellion thing. She trusted Sage to train the guard up well enough, she really did, but it was all terrifying. "I'm sure they'll all do just fine... especially with you training them all up. I was a little worried they wouldn't respect you enough to pay attention, but it's good things are going well. Though, I do have to admit that it's all a little... scary."

Sage hummed and nodded. "They're learning." Then he giggled. "I almost wanted them to not listen at first so I had an excuse to beat their butts," he admitted good naturedly. He shrugged. "But I suppose making them do all this work in armour is enough punishment at times anyway." He scooted up so their faces were aligned and reached up to press a light kiss to the tip of her nose. "Everything will be alright. Try not to worry too much, alright?" (What if when the rebellion hits sage ends up saving the queen but getting really hurt and that's when she kinda decides maybe he's not so bad and kinda helps him out and whatnot?)

(Ooh, yeah, I like that! Sorry I've not been overly helpful with the whole queen thing, but this should work lol) Anya smiled softly when he pecked her nose and gave a gentle nod. He was right... and she knew he'd try his best to get the guard ready to look after the castle. A few of the knights would help out to if things god bad, too, so she supposed that set her a little more at ease as well. The girl hummed softly and rested her fore head lightly against his as she got comfortable. "Training with armour does seem like a lot... just try not to over work them. We do need them a little energized encase things go south." She murmured before offering a light smile. "I'm sure you're right. It's just worrying, is all."

Sage smiled and nodded. "They're strong guys. They'll be alright." He cuddled in a bit more and smiled softly. "And I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to you, you know that," he murmured tiredly. He scooted in a little bit more and closed his eyes, and before he knew it he had fallen asleep. It was fine, he was glad to sleep with Anya again....they hadn't had much time together recently. (Ok cool. And no worries lol)

The girl let out a gentle chuckle before shaking her head. "I'm not worried about me," she whispered gently before pressing a soft kiss to his fore head then resting her chin on his hair. She was quiet for a little while, but she could tell when Sage had fallen asleep... his breathing had quietened down and become more rhythmic, so she decided not to say too much more and just let him rest. He needed it, so the girl just held him a little tighter, more than happy to have him at her side again. So the girl just closed her eyes and let herself slip away into a slumber.
