Matt didnt speak for the first twenty minutes or so of the movie. Instead, he aactually focused on it, perhaps too much. He took in what was going on, contemplated what would happen next, remembered names, stuff he never usually did because he was too distracted. But he seemed to be a lot more aware of the movie and a lot less aware of the fact Trixie was in front of him. By the time Matt had actually zoned back out he was hardly touching her, his hands having pulled from her wast and in front of his stomach instead. He felt slighty apologetic as he realised, placing them both back on her. "I love you" he whispered, rubbing his eye in frustration as he lost focus of the movie.

Trixie paid more attention to the movie than She usually did- enough to follow along. But nearly enough to ignore when his contact went away. She found herself essentially seperate from him after a half hour. She blinked when his arms wrapped back around her, smiling faintly at his words. "I love you too, baby." She responded softly, shifting back and into him so her back was almost pressed against his chest.

Matt directed a soft smile in Trixie's direction as she replied, feeling the same warm fluttering feeling as he did when they had first said that to each other. He held her a little tighter, and relaxed again to watch the rest of the movie, this time making sure he kept her arms around her. Soon enough the movie was over, and once he had finally zoned back in he spoke, shifting so he could sit up a little more. "You okay?" he asked, slightly out of the blue as he looked down at Trixie.

Trixie smiled faintly as he tightened his arms around her, closing her eyes momentarily before she settled into watching the movie. She didn't speak once the movie ended, simply yawning and shifting into him a bit more. She blinked in surprise at his question, moving her head to look at him. "I'm fine, yeah. Are you?" She asked tentatively.

Matt nodded slowly, shifting so he could sit up a little more. "I'm alright." he said, blowing his words out rather a lot. He placed his hand on her lower arm, giving her a soft smile. "You seem tired." he added with a smile, glancing up at the clock a little above the TV. It was only ust past lunchtime, though his eyes were startin to feel heavy. He just put it down to being comfortable for over an hour, though.

"I am, a little. I think it's just the fact that you picked a good movie for once." Trixie teased, rolling to lay on her back. Now that her mind had been taken off Kiara slightly, she seemed to be in a good mood. "Do you wanna take a nap or go on another adventure?" She asked jokingly, pressing her lips gently to his cheek.

"For once is insulting." Matt smiled, narrowing his eyes with a smile. Her seemingly good mood had perked him up a little too, mainly because for now at least, she seemed okay. "I thought you wanted to stay indoors for the rest of the day?" He asked, tilting his head a little. He pulled her into his chest as he sat up, content, waiting for a reply.

"It was intended to be." Trixie joked, smiling up at him. "But I didn't fall in love with you for your taste in movies, so I wouldn't sweat it." She teased, settling against his chest as he pulled her up. "I did. But then I got into a good mood. Then again, I'm always down to stay indoors if it involves you." She smiled, gently curling her arms around him.

"Just because you get jumpscared at any given scene" Matt teased, tilting his head with a smile. "Well I doubt we would have anything to do inside. So, why dont we go down by the beach? Sit there for a while, burn to dust in the sun?" He asked, standing up to stretch a little. He raked his hand through his hair to move it away, looking through a few strands at Trixie to wait for a reply.

Trixie smiled at the suggestion, nodding eagerly. "Yeah, that sounds great. Can I beg you to involve swimming, or is that completely out of the deal?" She asked teasingly, moving so he could stand up and looking up at him after, staying stretched out on the couch.
