(All good, so did I lol) Sage chuckled and snatched the fork out the air when Luther tossed it his way. "Good, cause if you lost it I might have to slim you down a bit," he joked. He obviously wouldn't eat the guy...that was something that really never even happened down in the slums. That was mostly because of disease, but whatever. He wasn't really hungry but the pie looked good and Anya wanted him to eat something so he might as well eat the pie, as they'd gone through so much trouble to get it.

Luther wrinkled his nose at the idea before realising he was only kidding. God, if people really were just chowing down on each other down in the slums, then there was a reason people were dying left, right and centre. He could only begin to imagine the length of the list titled 'reasons why you shouldn't eat people.' After a little while, the two had pretty much managed to eat everything. Most of the pie, and basically all the little tibits Anya had brought through for Sage the days prior. Luther had gorged himself, and was ready to go into a sleep coma, but forced himself up and picked up the tray, which still had a couple of slices left. "I might this out to Anya... she seemed busy earlier, so I doubt she would have eaten anything." The boy shrugged.

Sage chuckled at Luther's reaction of utter disgust before digging into the pie. It didn't take long for it to be practically gone, and not much longer for the snacks to be gone. Sage yawned and nodded, waving Luther out of the room when he said he'd bring something to Anya. "That's a good idea," he admitted. "We've had enough," he laughed. Once the boy left, he flopped down onto the bed and fell asleep within minutes, not even bothering to go under to covers or even lay on a pillow.

Luther gave a light nod before picking everything up amd slipping away again. It had been a good day... he thought so, at least. He had gotten to let go a little, which was something that didn't happen all that much. Though, admittedly, had had been something that had been occurring a hell of a lot more since Sage had arrived. Anya had always tried to get him running around and causing trouble with her when they were little, but nothing was actually as fun as any of this. The boy eventually tapped on Anyas door, to which was answered by a very worn out looking girl. She just looked from Luther to the pie, shook her head and slammed the door in the boys face. Well, he didn't think she'd meant to be quite so... aggressive with it, so he paid no mind and went back to his own room to settle down and get himself to bed. (you want to do this skip? :))

(sure, I can!) Sage slept for quite some time...through the rest of the day and the night, actually. He woke up somewhat early, as per usual, and decided to creep about a bit. He slipped outside, breathing in the fresh air happily. He heard yelling and some clanging coming from where the guards normally trained, so he decided to go watch for a bit...he and Anya had gotten a bit...distracted before when they were going to watch them. He stayed in the shadows and watched for a bit before stepping in to help one of the guards figure out how to turn on his heel. He was, surprisingly, willing to learn, and the trainer welcomed him too. The poor man looked exhausted...so did the guards, though Sage still felt no sympathy in making them run a mile before anything else happened. The next few days were pretty much the same. Sage trained with the guards and hardly saw Anya or Luther at all. He'd gained quite a bit of muscle though and had gained his appetite back as well. By the end of the day, he collapsed on his bed tiredly, wanting to see Anya but not having the energy to move any more.

Over the next few days, Anya found herself overwhelmed with what you could only describe as work. Well, the little bits that neither her mother nor father could care enough about actually do, so that stuff was dumped on her. She didn't mind persay, but soon enough it had become pretty exhausting. Especially when things went wrong, in which case she got yelled at and sent to redo everything. At some point, she had dragged Luther in to help her with the simple bribe of, 'we're going to have to do this shit together someday, so better get practicing.' Of course, that wasn't the bribe to win him over, but rather the promise of more food. Sometimes, though, when the boy went off to join in with the training, she did tag along just to watch for a bit. Sage was doing well... the guards were paying attention to him, with no quarrels whatsoever. That was pretty much all she saw of the boy, though, and surprisingly she didn't mind. He seemed happy enough, and so was she. This day was all the same, work with little to no breaks in between. When it was over, she just wanted to sleep... but she did also want to go and make sure things were going well from Sage's view. So, she wandered towards his chambers and placed a faint knock on the door. It was a little odd, for her to knock, but she did think the boy might just want to chill out alone.

Sage was writing out some stuff in terms of the next stages of training for a few of the guys who needed some more help on a few things when Anya knocked on the door. He didn't pay enough attention to the knock to realize it was the girl, but called for whoever it was to come in a absentmindedly. He was tired and just a bit distracted by all the paperwork, though when he glanced up and saw it was the girl a bright smile lit up his face and he set his pen down. He was glad to see her...he'd barely seen the girl unless they passed on the hallways or something. He'd missed her...maybe they could cuddle up tonight and catch up on time a bit. They were both busy though, so if the girl had other things to do he'd understand

The girl gave a gentle smile when she saw the boy's bright grin. The last time they'd spoken had been about a week ago, so she was more than happy just to be with him. She barely said a word before padding over and wrapping her arms around him, just kind of melting into the the boy with a shallow breath. She still had things to do, and she should probably run some papers back to her mother, but she could spend some time with Sage... besides, she wanted to know how his training was going, and make sure things were going as well as they seemed. There was the word that this whole rebellion thing spoke king up again, and she wasn't sure how much he could achieve with the lot of them by the time things had started to get worse.

Sage was more than happy to wrap his arms around the girl and tug her closer to him. He'd missed her, he really had. It seemed crazy how they could be so close to eachother, in the same building, and not see eachother almost at all for an entire week. He was glad the girl had stopped by though ... They probably wouldn't have seen eachother otherwise. "Why don't you stay the night," he suggested softly. "Get what you need to do and then we can catch up a bit." He had a feeling she'd probably say it was fine...as long as she got what she needed to do done there shouldn't be an issue, and he knew she'd missed him just as much as he'd missed her.

The girl gave a slight nod and pulled away from the boy with a slight sigh. "Yeah... I'll go get showered and be back in a bit," she murmured quietly, though she did sound tired. There still were a few bits and bobs that needed doing, but she could get those done along the way... all she really had to do was dump a pile of papers with her mother, but it shouldn't take too long. The girl kind of hummed a complaint as she pulled away from him and pressed a light peck to his cheek. "I'll be back in a bit," she huffed before standing up again and making her way back to her room.
