Matt hadnt said a single word since the girl had arrived, and really he wasnt about to unless she hurled some sort of insult at either of them. Kiara raised her eyebrows, looking over at Matt instead. "Alright. And what about you? Do you remember me?" she asked, her tone a lot softer, and his personal space even more invaded than before. Matt shook his head, standing up from the fountain. "No, look, we have to go. We'll..see you later." he mumbled, beckoning for Trixie to follow.

Trixie gently curled her arm around him, almost possesively when Kiara started speaking specifically to him. She was rather protective of him when it came to new people- women, specifically. She had very good reason to be, at that. She frowned up at Kiara as she got closer and her tone changed- forcing a sinking feeling into her stomach. She blinked when Matt stood, following him quickly when he beckoned. "Right. Uhm. Bye, Kiara." She said quickly, quickly intertwining her fingers with him.

Kiara didn't seem to happy about the sudden departure of the two, but Matt didn't have the energy or time to want to deal with whoever that girl was. He looked back and gave a fake, bored smile in her direction before turning back to Trixie, making their way to the direction of the beach. "Do you actually remember her or no?" he asked, kicking up the gravel. He had a dark, uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach, like there was something more to Kiara than just..weird excitement.

Trixie simply walked with him, frowning as she did so. She didn't pay attention to the path they were taking- her body was simply on autopilot as she thought, her brows slightly furrowed as she did so. She bit her lip at the question. "The more I think about it? Yes. She seems very familiar, but I don't seem to have any... specific memories of her." She sighed, rubbing at her temples momentarily. "Do you?" She asked faintly, turning her gaze up to him.

Matt thought for a couple of seconds after Trixie had finished talking. Eventually, he gave a small nod, his heart racing a little. "Quite well. As in, i recognise her quite well. Maybe, if we were here ages ago, we were friends with her?" he said thoughtfully, though he didn't carry his own sentence on about how he felt like he might have known her somewhat differently. Instead, he changed the topic. "Anyway. Do you wanna walk more or go back?" he asked, giving a light smile.

Trixie listened to his answer, nodding slowly when he finished. Something about the way he spoke let her know he wasn't saying... everything, but she brushed it off. "Maybe." She answered simply, taking a deep breath and looking at the horizon in front of them. "I'd be alright to go back, honestly." She shrugged, offering him a faint smile. Kiara had bothered her more than she cared to admit.

"Alright." Matt smiled, taking a small shortcut to turn around to go back to the house. As they walked he turned and gave a small glance in Trixies direction, frowning a little. "You okay?" he asked, the concern in his tone clear. Kiara had a strange effect seemingly on both of them. Like she was sort of, planning something, though to Matt that seemed crazy. They'd only spoken once.

Trixie didn't say much after, her face simply twisted in an expression of confused thought as she tried to figure out just what the sudden unease in her chest was. She blinked in surprise at his question, flashing him a quick smile. "Oh- yeah. I don't know, that girl just caught me off guard. I'm just... thinking, I guess. Sorry." She offered softly, giving his hand a small squeeze. She promptly decided no matter what this feeling of dread was- it wasn't going to take Matt away from her.

Matt nodded, taking in Trixies words with the same amount of concern he had when he asked if she was okay. "Itll be olay. I have no idea who she is but im sure we wont see her again, we've been here a while and thats the first time shes shown up." He said quietly, though he could hardly ease his own feelings let alone Trixie's. "Do you wanna come back to mine? Or not?" he asked, staring up the small hill as they reached it.

Trixie offered him a smile, comforted very little by his words. "I guess you're right. Yeah." She nodded quietly, biting her lip. "Yeah, going to yours is fine." She added.
