Lorelei nodded with a yawn, "Yeah, kind of,"

"Well I got pizza and you need to eat at least a little, beautiful." He said softly, turning to her after putting the pizzas in the kitchen. "Meat or cheese?" He said softly, walking over to her

"Cheese," she replied simply.

He chuckled, getting her a slice and handing her the plate as she sat on the bed. "Enjoy" He said softly, getting some for himself and settling beside her. He put on some mystery that was new and leaned on the wall behind them with her next to him

Lorelei curled up next to him, nibbling on her pizza while watching the movie. She kept glancing up at Kai then looking back down. Eventually, she lost her senses and leaned up, taking his face in her hands and kissing him lightly. She kissed him once, twice, three times, before she realized what she'd done and pulled away. She instantly got up, going over to her bathroom and locking herself inside.

Kai froze, not expecting her kissing. "Lorelei..." He said softly, watching her walk to the bathroom. He wet both their plates in the kitchen before walking over to the bathroom door and sitting down. "Lorelei, will you please unlock the door? Please?" He asked gently, not moving

Lorelei ignored him, overthinking everything she'd done in the last 5 minutes as she got into the shower.

"Lorelei....Please....Do you want me to leave?" He asked softly. "I will if you want me to...." He said, hearing the shower turn on. He took a shaky breath and spoke once more. " 'kay..." He said, his voice cracking with pain. He left the computer but put the pizzas in the fridge before grabbing his keys and phone and leaving. He drove to his house, crying.

Lorelei heard him leave, beginning to cry in the shower. She collapsed onto the ground, sitting and sobbing on the floor. God, she messed it up...

Kai cried for likely an hour before he finally picked up his phone. He checked to see if she had texted, or even wanted him to come back. Nothing. He sighed, sitting on the floor and crying again
