Morgan smiled lightly when he allowed her to stay... she didn't like him being alone like this. In this cold house with nothing warm and light. She wanted to be his light, just for a little while. She rested her head softly on his shoulder, her hand trailing up and down his thigh as she half listened to the movie. She looks back at him, her brows pinching together. Is he really that unsafe here? She looked at him with a cocked head. "Maybe, Caleb... maybe you should stay with me when they come home," she murmured softly. Though, after a moment she looked more curious. "Well, what would they do to me?" She asked softly. "And what would they do to you?" This question was more important to her... all she wanted to do was to look after him.

"I don't want to intrude." He muttered when she offered for him to stay with her. WHen she asked what they'd do, he went quiet for a moment. I don't want to scare her.... He thought, contimplating. He decided to give her a short summary of the potential risks. "Well... they would definitely hit you and I both. There's a reason I have scars from knives, so that would be another thing....." He trailed off as memories crashed down onto him. He refused to let his face betray him, though, keeping a straight face as he continued to rub her back. "Nothing you need to worry about if you're not here. I've made it this long."He reminded her

Morgan stared at him for a moment, and took his face in her hands. "Caleb," she breathed softly. "When they come home, you come to mine straight away," she told him, her voice serious. She couldn't live with these people. He couldn't be getting hit by his parents, and they couldn't be using knives on him. How could someone hurt their own child? How could they get away with it? "My parents would have them jailed for putting a finger on me,"'she muttered. "And they'd do the same for you," she whispered, her fingers running along his arms again. It was a soft movement, but she did mean it. "I'll worry about you no matter what," she whispered, pressing her lips back to his again.

Caleb sighed. "I hope they don't make it back" He admitted, imagining their plane crashing in the ocean. He smirked slightly, the smile diasappearing as soon as he heard Morgan's mental concern. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close, trying to ease her tense mind. "I'll be fine" He said when she told him she'd worry. "Please only worry about your own safety. I've dealt with them time and time again, so this is no different. Except you're in the equation" He stated, rubbing her back again. He listened and wited for her response, hoping she would stop worrying so much about him and focus more on herself. His parents were dangerous, and if Morgan got into the middle of it, Caleb would never forgive himself.

Morgan just furrowed her brows at him, shaking her head. She pushed his chest a little, her eyes clearly just... scared. "Caleb I mean it!" She muttered to him. She wanted to get him help somehow... find someone that would do something. She hadn't even met his parents yet, though, so she wasn't sure what she could do. These people could be dangerous, and by the sounds of it, they were. She felt her brows pinch together, and after a moment she moved to press her lips back to his. "Come find me if you ever feel unsafe with them. Just come over, you don't have to say anything," she murmured softly to him. She didn't want to put herself in danger, but she'd also be mortified if he ever managed to hurt himself. "Babe if anything was gonna happen to you..." she trailed off, a frown across her face.

heading of for a few hrs fyi) Caleb tried to give her a small, soft smile as she spoke. He couldn't deny she was worried and he was too, but he didn't want her to worry over him. He sighed, feeling every curve of her back as he rubbed it, slipping his hand under her shirt. He nodded to her when she said to come over whenever

(Nws, I have a flight at 8 game time so won't be on at all for a while) Morgan gave a soft sigh, though when she felt him rubbing her back she relaxed a little, moving to peck his cheek gently. "I just want you to be safe, Babe. This is... scary," she murmured gently to him. She didn't want him to be unsafe, and it didn't sound like he thought much of this.

"It's only scary if you're involved and getting hurt." He stated, becoming frustrated. He sighed. "And I am safe"

"I meant I'm scared for you." She didn't want to upset him at all. She'd do anything to see him... happy, but he just seemed so used to all this. He didn't think this was a big thing. She sat back a little bit, worry written across her face. "Caleb, this isn't... it isn't normal," she whispered to him gently. She moved so his hands weren't on her skin anymore, and bit her lip gently. "You're not safe," she added gently. She ran her hand softly up his arms. "Look at you," she whispered, her inner voice screaming to get him away from these people. "Fuck, Caleb you're not safe," she repreated, her voice just full of worry.

Caleb winced and closed his eyes as her mental voice blocked out any other hearing or feeling. He tensed, not expecting it and it truly bothered him to hear her so upset
