Sage sort of glanced over at her, obviously confused for a moment when she seemed so upset about dropping a pen. Then he remembered she played softball, and it caught up with him. His face softened slightly and he shook his head. "You've been in a cell for a long time, give yourself time to adjust," he noted softly. "It's a big shift. Your body need time to figure itself out," he added, handing her a few papers to sign. "I'm sure you'll be catching things just fine in no time."

Ally swallowed, glancing at Scar. "Okay..." she breathed, taking the papers and gently lifting the pen. She took a deep breath and sat straighter, looking down at the papers. "So what am I signing?"

He hummed and glanced over at the stack of piles with a wrinkle of his nose. "A lot," he noted, fiddling with his own pen. "Those are basically just promising you won't try to like ...kill me or the judge or anything," he noted with a snort.

Ally giggles. "Why would I hurt someone I'm relying on for my life?" She avoides mentioning death since that was the whole reason she was in jail in the first place. "Whatever" she signed the papers, the pen feeling odd in her hand, her signature slowly coming back to her the more she wrote. Her familiar penmanship returned, the letters flowing into the next like a font

Sage shrugged in response to her comment. "You'd be surprised his many people try to ruin once they're this close," he noted with a shake of his head. "Though I'm fairly certain to won't do anything, it's still the law," he sighed. "Unfortunately, that means we spend a while just signing things," he half grumbled

Alleyah groaned. "I don't miss this..." she complained as she signed yet another form. She rolled her wrist, closing her eyed and shaking her head before resuming. "I've missed writing my name like this though" she sais as she signed yet another paper, her signature looking virtually normal now

Sage chuckled softly and shrugged. "Well, I only got through highschool," he noted with a shrug. "And I pulled that out of my ass," he admitted. "You know how long it took me to read all this," he snorted with a quick shake of his head. He could read...just not super well. "English sucks," he grumbled, mostly to himself. Though, he nodded when she mentioned missing signing her name. "It does look good," he noted, peering over her shoulder. Especially compared to his chicken scratch, it looked nice.

"Surprisingly, I only went through highschool too." Ally shrugged as if it was nothing. "Then life happened, I guess, and threw me off course." She signed a few more papers before dropping the pen, massaging her cramping hand. "Thanks" she said when he complimented her handwriting. She blushed when he moved closer to see her name. She looked away, her eyes scanning the papers

Sage gave her a surprised glance when she said she had only gotten through highschool too. "Really," he asked, then nodded when she continued. "Makes sense, i guess," he admitted. "Once you're out do you think you'll go to college," he asked curiously, movign to settle back down after looking at her name.

Ally looked down. "I want to... but if I can't play softball then I'll just start working" She shrugged. "I had a backup plan but I never felt the need to really think about it" She sighed. She didn't want to spill everything, but she also hadn't truely talked to someone in a while. It was nice having someone else, especially someone who understood
