Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien made a subtle face at them as they approached. He wiped the look off his face, shoving his hands into his pockets as he walked with the group. Once everyone was checked in and briefed on rules, which Adrien doubted they would follow, they walked into the first room to get the gear. The person walked them through it, coaching them on what gear to put on and how. Adrien shredded his jacket, shoving it into a locker along with his phone. He glanced at Nick and rolled his eyes. He held out his phone for the blond's phone. When it was handed over, he shoved it in his locker and closed the door, latching the lock silently. Adrien glanced back at the employee and was promptly handed a laser tag gun, a harness, and a headband. He hung the gun around his body and secured the light harness on his body before adjusting his headband. Adrien then glanced around, waiting for the others. He wondered what team he was gonna be on.... |

Nick Browns -
Nick handed over his phone, blushing a bit, but due to the colored lights, no one could really tell. Nick was handed his gear and put in on. When everyone was all set and ready to go, the gear lit up with two different colors, red and blue. Nick looked down and saw that his was blue, so he was on the blue team. Nick looked around the room, taking in who was on his team, until his eyes fell on Adrien. Adriens gear was lit up with red. Dang it. He was really hoping he and Adrien would be on the same team. But it was okay, it was just one little game, it would be over soon anyway. Though Nick told himself this he couldn't help the little disappointed frown from appearing on his lips. Nick quickly erased the look though, remembering his other friends were around. Nick lined up with the rest of his team, next to Adrien and the other team. "Good luck" he said softly, giving Adrien a genuine smile. Not a fake one from fake Nick, a true one from the real Nick. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien looked down at Nick and smiled slightly, his neck heating up. He looked away. "You too, dork..." He muttered, walking off with his team to the starting "bases." He stood around, gripping the laser tag gun in his arms, sliding a finger along the fake barrel with a sigh. "... why did I even come?" He grumbled to himself, trying to ignore the loud chattering behind him. (sorry it's short <3) |

Nick looked away blushing slightly with mixed feelings. He always got a bit flustered when talking to Adrien, but no matter who it was, being called names was one of his worst nightmares, even if it was just playful and meaningless. Nick walked with his team to his base and waited for the go ahead to start. The lights cut off for a moment, leaving them all in the pitch black. "Game On." a loud voice from the overhead speakers said and the lights came back, flashing neon colors everywhere. Nick rushed out, splitting from his team, and stealthly moving around the large room, hiding behind the different walls and obstacles, and shooting the other teams players whenever he could. Nick was pretty good at this and only got hit once by the time the game was halfway over. He was now, silently and slowly pacing down the back wall, after a unsuspecting red player, but the red player moved on too quick for him to shoot, so he was left alone to look for another target. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- As Adrien was enveloped in black, he was already planning in his mind... When the loud voice annouced the game was on, Adrien stayed rooted to the spot for a moment as the neon lights came on, flashing wildly... that was nauseating... He sighed, breaking off from the large group that was just running around guns a blazin, instead, sneaking along the outskirts of the arena. He shot one of the blue teams in the middle of their harness. Smirking as they threw their hands up in frustration. Adrien crept closer to the red base, moving quietly. He got multiple other reds out, making them go back to their "home base." He sort of hated he was having fun... A loud buzz sounded along with a radio voice announcing that they were half-way through the game. Adrien rolled his eyes, sneaking forward as silently as possible. He froze in place, staying close to a wall as he saw a blond-haired male coming around the corner. He recognized the curls and immediately panicked. The adrenaline spiked through his spine, clouding hid judgement. He reached out, gripping onto Nick's harness and shoving him against one of the many large blocks in the arena. He conncted their lips, trapping the blond between hid body and the block. Adrien quickly placed his laser tag gun to Nick's harness and pulled the trigger. A beep came from the harness and he pulled away, breathing uneven. Nick's harness and headband were flashing now, saying "return to homrbase" every few seconds. He stared down at Nick for a few moments before he snapped out of it.. Adriens face was tinted a dark red and he felt... very hot. "Got ya." He said before turning and jogging toward the red teams base. (Give me a sec- I'm squealing.) |

( AAAAAAAAAHHHH THATS FUCKING AdOrAbLe!!! ) Nick Browns -
One second he was just walking along, searching for his next target, and the next, someone had pinned him against a wall and was kissing him, harshly too. Nick opened his eyes immediately and identified the boy as Adrien. Wait- ADRIEN WAS KISSING HIM!?!?!?!?!!? Nick stood there in shock, Adriens warm, masculine lips and the contrasting cool metal lip ring on his. He was too shocked to kiss back and even if he had snapped out of it, Adrien had already shot him and pulled away. Nick just stared at the boy, butterflies ragging in his stomach, wide-eyed, heat and scarlett blistering his face, and in complete shock. What. Just. Happened. Nick just stoof there, glued to the spot as he watch Adrien jog back to his teams base. Thankfully the game was over soon after that, and Nick walked back to his base. Time passed rather quickly for him. The winners were announced but Nick wasn't paying attention, he could only think about one thing. Adrien kissing him. Nick now walked back to another room where they took off all their gear and gave it to an employee. Nicks gaze flickered over to Adrien quite a bit, the scarlett blush now permanently coloring his cheeks. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien avoided looking at Nick as the game ended. His neck felt hot everytimehe even thought about the blond... Adrien yanked open the locker, shoving hisphoneinto his pocket and pullingouthid jacket, then holding out Nick's phone for him. "Good job on your win." He told Nick. Considering he had won by one more "kill." Adrien tugged his jacket on, sipping it up enough to keep it on himself but loose enough on of the sleeves dipped off his shoulder. Adrien closed the locker again, looking at Nick for a moment. The thought of kissing him popped back into his mind and he swiftly looked away. "... let's go, yeah? Its pretty dark." He said, coughing a bit to hide the crack I his voice. |

Nick took his phone and shoved it in his pocket. He kept his eyes away from Adrien as they spoke, and he tried to conceal the scarlett hue, but he didn't know how he could hide so much of it. "Thanks" he said, daring a glance up but quickly looked away. Nick nodded in agreement, mostly because he wanted to get Adrien alone to ask about the kiss, but some part of him also just didn't want to be here anymore, pretending to be someone he wasn't. Nick said goodbye to his friends and walked outside with Adrien, heading home, replaying those moments with Adriens lips on his. He would give anything to rewind and kiss him back, but he couldn't. After a while of awkward silence, they were about half way home on their walk, Nick finally piped up. "Adrien?" he asked, getting his attention before continuing. "...Why'd you kiss me?" he asked, the scarlet hue staining his cheeks. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien walked with Nick, eyes on the dark path ahead of them. It was so dark out... His mind was beginning to worry. What if they were hurt? What if someone came over? What if thy were jumped? What if a car- He was jolted from his thoughts by Nick's voice. Though, he begged to go back to the awkward silence after he heard the question. He kept walking despite the urge to throw himself into the rose bushes next to he path. He bright a hand up, rubbing his hot neck awkwardly. "I dunno... I guess I just panicked. Sorry about that- just.. forget hat happened." He muttered. He knew Nicholas was straight. Why had he done that...? Oh so he's back to Nicholas? His brain observed. Wow. The urge to throw himself into the thorns was becoming more irresistible. They both dissolved back into a horribly awkward silence. |

Nick listened and took in the information. Disappointment and sadness settled in his stomach. Nick was really hoping for a different answer. "Oh, okay..." he responded, putting his head back down, looking at the ground. His cheeks were red, his eyes welled up, disappointment hollowed him out. He'd gotten to kiss the boy he really wanted to kiss, but apparently it meant nothing. They walked the rest of the way home in silence. Aaron was just coming home as they came up to Adrien and Aarons house. No doubt Aaron would notice Nick was off, well more than off, and pester him about it, but he really didn't wanna talk about what had just happened, afraid that if he did he'd start crying. |
