Kin nodded curtly. He didn't want to give himself time to pity her or stare at how bad she looked and obviously felt. He shut the door, the key was inside so if she locked him out he couldn't really do anything about it but from the looks of it ..she likely wouldn't be moving. He turned twice as he had to get to their room, he came back to the same elf he'd spoke to for the room. Discretely asking for either instructions or help to get a bath up. He chose the same elf as he had very obviously been the most accepting of Eris in the entire town as of yet. The elf behind the bar said his wife could help her out. Coincidentally, she was a fae. She had simply been in the back room. They exchanged a few words and she went to find Eris and he left. He walked at his own pace, which was long strides and much faster than he walked with her, as he backtracked the map, back to the market, and the alley his stuff was at. And still was at thankfully.

Eris blinked in surprise as the door opened, her eyes following the pretty Fae lady who walked in the room. Hold on. A Fae. A friendly Fae, by the looks of it. She went to sit up quickly, wincing, but almost smiling since she got to see her own kind. They exchanged a few words in Fae, and she had never been happier to hear her own tongue before. She had never been more excited to hear a friendly voice. It was surprising, how loneliness did that to a person. They got onto the topic of baths, and Eris gave a vehement nod. She was led out of the room and down the hall- there were special bathing chambers, it seemed. The woman started the faucet and held her hand over the stream, heat radiating outward. It wasn't uncommon for Fae to have inclinations to elements like that, but it was lovely to see none the less. They started chatting idly, and the woman pointed out soaps and conditioners- and a slightly primitive showerhead, along with how to use it. After the bath was warm and drawn, the woman left, and Eris finally set about getting herself clean. After a little less than an hour, Eris was finally satisfied with her cleanliness. She had soaked for a while, then scrubbed her entire body- including her teeth. Still, she felt vaguely like she could taste blood, but it was more likely her own. She cleaned her fingernails, took care with the claw marks on her shoulder, and even more care with the gash on her thigh. It was... just sealed over, and it still hurt like hell. Most of the time had been spent shampooing and conditioning her hair. Maybe like three times over, but nobody needed to know that. She dried off, having kept her hair up in a bun since she had finished washing it, and curled the warm towel around herself. She had been just a little too excited to be clean, and she forgot to bring clothes in with her. She picked her old clothes up with a shrug, and hobble-scurried down the hall and into the room. Luckily, the warm water helped... everything.

Im crying I've never related to anyone more than the vaguely naked scamper to find clothes)) Kindred missed being among his own people, speaking his own tongue. As much as he knew of common, sometimes it didn't roll off the tongue quite so easily. He looked around the closing market, still closing. No sign of those boys. He noticed the white cat again, sitting on his things. Squatting down, he let the cat sniff him, which started rubbing its face on him and crept onto his lap. Kin was unaccustomed to pets, slowly he pet the cat again accepting his fate. He started picking his things up and the cat didn't move. The elf was starting to panic. He wasn't entirely sure how to get up. Because moving the cat would be a sin. So he stayed there til his ankles began cramping, which wasn't terribly long but it felt like a long time. The cat was kneading his claws into one kneecap, but did he really care? No. He didn't really have anything else to be doing and that would give Eris time to clean off as well. He picked up the cat off of his knee, taking his own flesh too. He cradled the cat, who settled into his arms. Kin was just ..letting him. absently petting the cat as he walked back Now he was getting looks again, but for holding the cat, this time people would smile. How simple these people could be. He walked in again, whatever he held he used to kinda hide the feline in his arms as he walked back into the inn. Into their room. Alone but he knew where they were at and he was okay with that. He placed the cat down on the bed and opened a window in case the cat decided it wanted to leave. He put his stuff down and picked out his other change of clothes. In their brief exchange, he knew where the chambers were at and he walked to one. He needed no explanation and just took a cold shower with whatever soap was available, even leisurely cleaning his clothes, as you do. He made it back to his room in his dry clothes, a sage green longsleeve and dark brown pants that looked slightly too long. He ended up draping his clothes over the tub in the bathroom to dry. The cat was still there so he laid in bed beside the cat, the bed closest to the door, luckily there were two, and shut his eyes, stroking the cat and waiting for Eris to return. *snickers evilly*)

Scamper Scurry Squeedle All the way to the bedroom and shut the door like you just got caught doing something Nope, you're just indecent)) Eris slid back into the hotel room easily, shutting and locking the door behind her. She absentmindedly reached up to pull her half dry, shiny hair down. It fell quickly, in slightly curly waves that went a long way down her back. She finally lifted her eyes to take in Kindred and... her kitty. Er- the cat from earlier, that is. She simply blinked at him and then crossed the room to kneel on her good leg and root through the bags he had brought back. "Are pets even allowed in here?" She asked nonchalantly, surprisingly chill for someone who was a stumble away from being indecent in front of an acquaintance. She stood and flopped them out on the bed, then went back to the bag and continued rifling through it with one hand, using her other to hold the towel.

Kin's head popped up as she walked in. "Oh, sorry," he said quickly, he hadn't entirely recognized that she was covered. He was guessing but he didn't stare to find out. Letting his head fall back on the pillow and draping an arm over his eyes. He heard her shuffle around, finding her items in whatever he carried up. "Likely not. I didn't ask." He smirked slightly because he had snuck the little creature in. His face was a slight shade of embarrassment, though less visible on his skin tone. "The showers were nice." He said quietly. His hand still gently rubbing the cat's sleeping side.

Eris raised an eyebrow at his sudden reaction, tilting her head slightly as he covered himself. "For what?" She asked, s though he were perhaps, a bit stupid. She smiled slightly at his answer, changing quickly and then throwing the wadded up towel at him. "Very." She nodded lightly, adjusting the slightly over large t-shirt She had picked out and glancing down at her scar, visible on her thigh because of her shorts. "Where did you find him?" She asked curiously, walking toward the slumbering cat. She gently brushed her fingers down his spine, her hair curling and brushing against the purple bruise around her neck. It was just darker than her hair.

"You're just in a towel," he said, as if she was barely hidden beneath it. He dropped his arm as she jumped at the wadded fabric hitting him, jostling the sleeping cat. He slyly scoweled at her, moving the towel by the foot of his bed. Aka kin tossed it. he took in her outfit, was was very comfortable looking. Other than her thigh. He'd not seen just how horrible a fresh-ish wound could look. His attention drew away as she inquired about the tom. "He was laying on our stuff and wouldn't leave my body so I brought him back. Opened the window but he hasnt left." He shrugged, moving his hand so she could pet him better.

"...you make it sound like I'm wearing a see through night gown." Eris teased, lowering her head to press a kiss against the sleeping cat's head. She straightened back up and gave a sigh, moving the scratch the tom behind his ears. "He likes us, for some reason." She shrugged, stroking her hand down his spine gently.

Kin glared at her, pursed lips and all. "If he agrees to it we could bring him along." He said, half serious. He rested his clasped hands over his stomach and crossed his ankles. One night and a midnight fugitive chase was enough to completely ruin any semblance of rest he might have gotten over the two days they had been off, especially with early mornings. However a bed is a bed and even if he just laid there with his eyes shut he'd probably be getting more rest than laying in the dirt. It was definitely early hours of the morning, they'd barely made it to their room and the sun would probably be up in a few hours. But til then, this was a very nice bed.

"Maybe." Eris shrugged simply, standing and moving to rummage through their bags once more. She pulled out ointment, a roll of bandages, and a few other medicinal supplies. She sat on her bed quietly, shifting her shirt gently over her shoulder and dabbing ointment onto the fading gashes. They were healed over enough, but the ridges still showed through. She shifted her shirt back up and over her shoulder, then moved to do the same with her thigh. She winced slightly, simply forcing herself to continue on, despite the way it burned every time she touched the wound. After, she quickly wrapped a clean, white bandage around the entirety of her wound- taut but not tight, and then tied it off.
