He giggled slightly at the sarcasm, turning slightly so she kiss him. He sat back and looked at his gift. He opened it up, seeing the leather he pulled the bag off and unfolded it. His jaw gaped slightly. "You didn't," he opened his door and stepped out(-gets hit by car-) and put it on immediately. He laughed excitedly. It fit just right. It was dark brown, shiny, had snaps, pockets for his hands, one in his right sleeve and one above his heart. He sat back down looking like a ten year old who got his first phone. "Thank you." He was admiring the leather on it, it was a little stiff but he was pretty sure that would grow on him. Mostly because he was so excited that it was just right.

Hehehe)) "I did." Tempe smiled, watching him get out happily. She grinned at his laugh, looking almost as excited as him. "It fits!" She watched him get in, looking pleased with herself. "It looks good on you. Do you like it?" She asked eagerly, tilting her head at him in a sweet way.

Nate giggled as he shut the car door. "I most certainly do like it." He put his hands on the wheel. "I love it." He turned over the key, looking over at her. "I would call this a successful shopping trip, wouldn't you?" He backed out of the parking spot and into the lot, aiming back for the main street. They weren't far from where he wanted to spend the night. "How'd pick this for me?" He asked curiously.

Tempe relaxed into the seat, offering him a smile. "I thought you would." She said lightly, nodding and looking at the necklace in her palm. "I would. This is really gorgeous, Nate. Thank you." She said again, leaning forward and struggling to put it on for a few minutes before she gave up, huffing a little bit. She glanced up at the question, running her fingers over the small metal dog. "You seemed like the kind of person who needed a leather jacket. You know, kick ass, cool as ice. Until you start giggling." She teased softly, curling up in her seat.

Nate smiled over at her, watching her struggle. "Hang on once we hit a stop I can put it on for you." He offered in a gentle tone. Ge looked forward at the road, watching his mirrors. "I am kick ass you are correct." He grinned, slowing down to a stop at a red light. "Cmere let me put it on real quick." He held his hands out for the necklace so he could put it on her.

"Really? Thanks." Tempe offered him a smile, scoffing playfully at him. "It doesn't count if you say it yourself. It just makes you less kick-ass." She mocked, gently laying the necklace in his hand and turning her back to him, leaning closer and sweeping her hair aside.

"I am so kick ass." He fake hair flipped before reaching over to her. He sat up out of his seat for a moment and dropped it over her head and at linked the chains behind her head and sat back down, looking back at the light as it turned green. He went back to driving pretty fast.

Tempe couldn't help but chuckle at him. "Yeah. SO kickass." She said sarcastically, raising her eyebrows in surprise as he fastened it so fast. She sat back the right way and tilted her head at him. "Thank you. You did that... so fast- I'm impressed." She said inquisitively, as though asking him to explain how he did it. She was gently rubbing the little charm and glanced at it in the rearview, grinning at the sight.

He grinned over at her, checking his mirrors again. "I know I have mad skills." He responded quickly, but seemed to be trying not to let something get at him. Something he didn't want to talk about at the moment. He turned off the road onto one that would lead him to hopefully a more quiet part of the big town they were in. Looking for a road that would lead to his destination.

Tempe smiled at him at his answer, titling her head at the Mysterious lack of explanation. "That's all you have to say?" She chuckled, grinning at him and leaning over the arm rest slightly in a teasing way. "I bet you fasten a whole lot of necklaces in your line of work." She said playfully, but she was more... mocking, than pressing for an answer.
