Sage wandered around the forest for a while until he picked up a deer trail. He decided to follow it, since a deer could feed the two of them for a while. He tracked the deer down and killed it when it bent down to get a drink. He skinned it and cleaned it and then picked it up and began walking back to the cave.

Ellie got the fire going again, she yawns sitting by it as she brushed her hair.

Sage got back to the cave and set the deer down by the fire. He started cutting the meat up into peices he could cook over the fire.

she glanced at him but avoided looking at the deer she put her hair up and put her brush away.

Sage finished cutting up the meat and shoved the carcass off the side of the cave into the river. He put some of the meat over the fire to cook and wiped his hands on his pants. It didn't do much good since his clothes were also a mess though.

She looks at him with a small smile then looked at the fire.

He lay down on his back as he waited for the meat to cook. He was kind of bored, but he didn't want to leave the cave since the meat was cooking.

Ellie looks around the cave, she shifts slightly and bit her lip a bit.

He noticed the movement and glanced over at Ellie. "What's on your mind?"

"hm?" she looks at him "Oh nothing, just bored," she told him.
