Camery Valatieri - Cam felt her cheeky little smile cross her face disappear after a moment. Her eyes ran up his back, looking over the scars that ran along his skin. Shit. Yeah, she'd made a mistake there, even if it was in good nature. She couldn't imagine how he would have begged his father to leave him alone when he was young, or her fathers guards as they ripped his wings to shreds. She didn't want him to feel like that with her in any way. "Alright then... don't beg, just come here," she murmured quietly. "I never asked you to do that, baby," she murmured quietly. "Promise, I didn't mean it like that either."

Camery Valatieri - Cam opened her arms a little and let him curl in, burying her nose into his head and wrapping her arms around his back. She let out a slow breath held him tight, closing her eyes. "Sorry, baby," she whispered. She felt awful. She hadn't wanted him to beg, and god she hadn't wanted to hurt him.

Camery Valatieri - Cam drew in a soft breath, trying her hardest not to feel so guilty. She'd tried her hardest to make him feel better, but then she'd always go and do something that just made him feel worse. "It's not okay," she murmured, closing her eyes and letting out that breath she hadn't quite realised she'd been holding. "I'm sorry," she whispered again. "I never mean to hurt you, but somehow-" she paused quietly, holding him tighter. "Somehow I always manage to," she finished quietly.

Camery Valatieri - Cam shook her head and just held onto him. "You know it's not fine," she murmured. "You're gonna stop forgiving me for it at some point," she added quietly. He would. He'd nearly walked away not long ago. She'd upset him last night, somehow, and she'd upset him now. She normally didn't clock what she'd said until he was about to walk away from her. She hated that she made him hurt, re-live what he'd gotten away from with somone that he was supposed to trust.

Camery Valatieri - Cam just stayed quiet. She knew exactly how much power she had over him. She knew he'd go to the ends of the world for her. She knew that if she asked him to throw himself off a cliff he'd do it. She knew that if she asked him to give his life for her, he would. No, she wouldn't have to ask, and he'd just do it. She also knew that that power over him was the only thing making him stay with her. The only thing stopping him from telling her to leave and never come back. "Then why is it that everything I say upsets you?" She asked simply. "Why is it that every time I make a joke you get upset? Or turn away from me? Why does it feel like you're constantly trying to run away?" She asked, her voice a little worried. Her heart started to beat a little quicker at those thoughts. "Why am I always walking on eggshells around you? You know I love you, and you know I love you too, but god I don't think I can see you turn your back on me one more time. I don't think I can handle seeing you stay up all night crying because of something I've said or done or..." she trailed off slightly, and let out a heavy breath as she tried to keep her voice strady.
