"Of course, of course. And you did" Matt smiled, looking down at the table. He was forced to look back up as someone came over to take their orders of the drinks, and once they were finally gone, he brought his gaze back down to Trixie. "When do you next have work?" he asked, giving a soft smile so he didnt seem like he was asking the question slight out of spite.

Trixie gently ran her thumb over the back of his hand as he spoke, continuing to do so when the waiter came over to take their drinks. She offered the server a smile before they left, in an overall happy mood. She brought her gaze back to Matt when he spoke, tilting her head in thought. "The day after tomorrow." She said lightly. She hesitated after and watched him for a moment before speaking again, a slightly worried tone of voice. "I... you don't have to come this time, if you don't want to." She added softly, frowning slightly.

Matt nodded, giving her a soft smile, placing his hand on her arm absentmindedly. He thought for a second, relaying her words, and the previous events in his head briefly. He didnt feel the insane jealousy or the worry he would have bringing it up even late last evening. "I promise its fine. If I dont have work i'll come." he said quietly, making eye contact for a little bit. "I'm fine with it now, I was just being...stupid. Was hard to get my head round" he added, displayng the same soft smile.

Trixie watched him quietly, her head tilted in slight concern. She relaxed at his words, giving a small nod and holding his gaze in turn afterward. "Alright." She said softly, offering him a faint smile. She seemed to perk up slightly once he finished speaking. "It's understandable. It's not the most normal of career paths."

Matt shook his head in agreement, staring down at the table. "Not particularly, no" he smiled, thinking a little before he spoke. "If im able to I could..join you. In the near future, not right as we speak" he shrugged, though he could hardly believe his own words as they left his mouth.

Trixie smiled faintly at his words, biting her lip and casting her gaze down at the table momentarily. She brought I back up when he began to speak, tilting her head slightly out of curiousity. She stayed quiet out of surprise for a second or two, then responded. "I would absolutely love that. But only if it's because you want to- I don't want to pressure you into anything." She added softly at the end, otherwise buzzing with excitement.

"You're not. Pressuring me into it, I mean. I'd love to join you, it would just be a change, you know? Going from standing behind a bar talking to people all night and handling alcohol to standing in front of a camera being shoved around." he explained, his hands moving with his words. He set them down on hers, giving her a smile. "But otheriwse i'd love to" he added.

Trixie chuckled slightly at him, moving her hands to interlock with his as he set them down. "Certainly a change, that's for sure." She said lightly, holding his gaze and offering him a slight grin. "I think you'll enjoy getting shoved around with me." She teased.

"I highly doubt it." Matt smiled, only really half joking. He didnt want it come across as 'yeah ill come to work with you, keep other guys away' because in reality that wasnt what he was saying at all. He just wanted a change. He leant forward and gave Trixie a smile, glancing out the window quickly. "Know what you want yet?" he asked, moving quickly so the drinks could be placed down.

Trixie shrugged. "Guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?" She joked lightly, returning his smile and lightly releasing his hands when the server placed their drinks down. "I think so- do you?" She said, glancing at the server and offering him a small smile.
