"It no different then putting a human in solitary confinement with no human contact... it's maddening." She said simply before nodding "Let's get the two of you outfitted with weapons she said conjuring a long 1 foot by 10 foot cloth roll tied with one string when she took it out she revealed all kinds of different weapons "Take your pick..." She smirked. Travis quickly chose a knife with edges that were cut into the blade in a c shape and sharp points... "Effective..." Roxie commented looking up at Lance "Pick whatever you want... you can hide it anywhere because these weapons are enchanted... they won't cut anyone but whoever you are aiming to cut." She assured.

Lance frowned slightly, hating to think of what that sort of thing could do. "Well, how bad can it be," he sighed, mostly to himself but loud enough for the others to hear it. He peered down at the weapons before finally deciding on a good old fashioned gun. That may be the best option, they may need a long distance weapon. "Is that it then," he asked. "Can we leave?" He was eager to go get his daughter, and hopefully they could figure out what to do with Sage. But if they couldn't help him, couldn't bring him back to normal....no. They'd get him. They couldn't just leave him there.

Roxie nodded "I'll meet you guys there with the potion." She nodded before she took the weapons and poofed off. Travis gave his wife a kiss goodbye before they headed off "How long have you known?" He asked "Must have been quite a shock when you found out..." Travis pointed out "How the hell did you process a thing like that?" He asked. When they arrived Roxie had a potion ready for all 4 of them, there was small amounts in each bottle "these should last 30 minutes... long enough for you to get in and get out... you'll be cloaked to everyone... including my informant." He said I'll disconnect the cameras and lights if you guys are still in there when the 30 minutes are up." She told them "Remember... find Max first." She said as Travis drank the potion.

Lance nodded and walked away with Travis, a chuckle escaping him. "It was a while ago...Sage headed off of fight with his band of warriors, and i came across them after the battle," he told him. "Long story short, he died in my arms, and then also came back in my arms, and I was quite confused." He laughed slightly and shrugged. "They explained after, of course, but it was quite shocking. You handled it better than I did. Quicker too." He nodded in response to Roxie's instructions and took a deep breath before drinking the potion. "Right. Let's go then," he said. "Lead the way," he told the girl who'd been there before. (you can take Lance back over whenever you'd like :) )

(Kk) Travis gave a small chuckle "Wow..." he admitted "But trust me I'm not handling it well... I'm going to hammer my best friend with questions at the earliest convinience..." be assured. When they entered the building with the girl she took them right to Max Lance and Travis talked softly to her so she could hear them as they removed the straps... She looked like she was at 6 almost 7 months along with the twins now but she didn't care her only goal was to get to her husband... when they got to Sage she told the others to stand back as she spoke firmly to her husband despite him not being able to see her "Sage..." She said firmly "It's me... stop that pacing now." She said sternly.

Sage still wasn't really aware of Max's voice. Sure, he heard her, but her voice went right over his head. At least, what she was saying went right over his head...he heard someone there and lunged from where he was in the shadows, out from behind his 'nest' of rotting bodies with a howl/snarl sort of noise, fully intending to gut whoever was there. His teeth snapped together inches from her face, fangs bared. He had a muzzle on still, a tight one that had dug into his skin, but even so the snap of the teeth echoed in the otherwise quiet room. The collar and chain yanked him back, and while any other time he would have coughed and gagged, he just got back up onto his crawling position and strained against the chain, thrashing around. He'd left deep claw marks on the iron bars at the front of the cage too, which sort of only told them how easily he could gut any one of them. He could smell more than one person...and all he could do was act like some kind of rabid wolf, his eyes wild, paying no mind to the severe injuries or the hunger and dehydration that would have collapsed anyone by now.

"Sage..." Max whimpered taking a hesitant step closer to the cage "Shhh... stop and listen..." She said gently her voice soft and soothing like how she spoke to Charlie when she got upset "Sage... You can fight this..." She told him "I know you can..." She said. She feared he might have to be killed all over again... to reset him. Lance huffed lightly "20 minutes guys..." the girl told them. "Think of me... think of Charlie and the boys..." Max urged gently "Please..." She begged him.

Sage sort of shrunk back at her voice...why was it soothing? He paced for a few more moments, going slower and slower until his ears sort of twitched and he turned his head to look staright at max, even without his eyesight. It was familiar...his nose twitched too, and after a few moments of just...listening and smelling, he slunk forward as far as the chain would allow him and reached his face towards her, tryign to touch her. He had to touch her. When he felt her hand on his face, he sort of just quivered there before something in his face and demeanor changed, and he visibly paled, now looking hungry and exhausted. "Max," he whispered, almost not willing to hope it was her.

Maxine sighed in relief when he said her name giving a tearful chuckle "Sage..." She said gently asking her dad and Travis to get him out of the chains "Behave yourself okay?" She said gently kissing his forehead as the chains were undone. She hugged him her belly pressing against him in a bit more of an incombersome manor... a little flurry of movement so prominent in her belly that Sage could feel it too on his.

Sage sort of let out a soft sigh of relief when she confirmed it was her, and he half flinched away when Travis and Lance reached towards him, though the feeling went away quickly once he got himself under control. He smiled slightly when she hugged him, sort of collapsing onto her from exhaustion once the chains let him down. He could feel the boys too...which was definitely a relief. "Better leave the muzzle on for now," he rasped when she reached for it. "There's something about this place...it's incredibly hard not to let it take over my mind...and I don't want to hurt anyone," he told her. He hated being muzzled with a passion, but he also didn't want to hurt his family or friends. He tried to get up, but after a moment of struggle, he sighed and looked over at Travis in a sort of apologetic manner. "You're gonna have to help me outta here," he half groaned half chuckled. He was just so, so tired...mentally and physically...and now the place was pressing against his head so, so hard again...it took everything he had not to turn on them all. But they only had like five minutes left, so they had to leave now. Edited at July 2, 2023 10:34 AM by NightClan
