Matt looked up with a slightky excited smile at her presence, nodding lighly. "Of course." he smiled, standing up. Before he made his way out the door he gave Trixie a light hug, kissing the top of her head, then starting off out the door. The sun engulfed them as soon as they did, and he felt slighty uncomfortable. "Its warm" he mumbled, shiedling his eyes from the rather bright light.

Trixie returned his smile, unwrapping her arms from him so he could stand up. She leaned eagerly into his hug, closing her eyes and curling her arms around him in turn. Once he pulled away, she grabbed his hand and walked with him out of the house. She blinked slightly at the sudden brightness, shielding her eyes slightly and turning her gaze to the square instead. "It is. And also... very, very bright." She huffed, leading him onto the sidewalk and beginning the walk down the street.

"Slightly." Matt smiled, taking to staring down at the floor instead of straight ahead. As they turned the corner at the bottom of the hill he was able to look up, and so took the liberty by looking at Trixie. "What do you wanna do first? Get food, walk or go sit by the fountain?" he asked, his tone soft. He stepped aside as a couple of children seemingly without parents sprinted fast, his smile turning into a slight frown until they were out of sight.

Trixie settled her gaze on the square instead of looking up, shielding her eyes occasionally. Once they got to the bottom of the hill, she gave his hand a light squeeze and offered him a smile. "Let's go get food, then come and sit by the fountain." She nodded, smiling slightly as the children ran past. She took a step closer to him, planting a kiss on his cheek. "Where do you want to go?" She asked lightly.

Matt shrugged, smiling as she planted a kiss on his cheek, crunching the gravel underfoot. "I don't mind. The first place we come across?" he asked, gestruing towards the square in front of them. There was a somehwat good amount of cafes, restaurants and fast food chains scattered around, and he was vowing to leave it up to Trixie.

Trixie nodded at his answer, rubbing her thumb gently along the back of his hand as she held it. "Sure. Don't think I didn't notice how you refuse to pick, though." She huffed teasingly, gently leading him along the sidewalk and glancing at restaurants as they passed.

"Me? Not pick? Never." Matt smiled, glancing up at the rather lively people walking to and from the square. He kept his gaze well away from the sun as they turned a small corner, instead letting his gaze trace and follow cobbles underfoot as they stepped off the pavement. "So, picked yet?" he asked teasingly, giving her a playful nudge.

"Of course." Trixie said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. She glanced occasionally at the faces that passed, some vaguely familiar, others not. Once they turned the small corner, she stuck to trying to read the signs on restaurants and shops as they passed. She offered him a smile at the tease, shrugging. "Not yet. See, when you pick, things go much faster." She joked, glancing over at a Chinese restaurant as they passed and pausing. "Nevermind, I have picked." She said lightly, pulling him in lightly.

"That may be the case but i enjoy you making decisions. Makes life easier for me" Matt grinned, taking her hand to simply hold as they walked. He kept looking at the various food places passing until she stopped, outside what looked like a Chinese restaurant. "Nice choice." He smiled, following her into the restaurant. Soon enough they were sat down, and he leaned across the table, occasionally glancing outside. "Took you long enough to choose" He smiled jokingly.

"Well I'm glad I can make your life that much more convenient." Trixie joked, rolling her eyes at him playfully and giving his hand a gentle squeeze when he took it. "Thanks." She nodded lightly, offering him a smile as they sat down. She leaned across the table slightly toward him, still keeping his hand held in hers. "I just wanted to make sure I made the right choice." She grinned, glancing outside for a moment.
