Her father came back after a long day and entered Loreleis room where Kai and she were. "So, what happened?"

"I...failed her... I have no clue how I missed it but a guy came in while we were sleeping and took her from me. I couldn't find her and she was used in ways I will never be able to fully take revenge for. I'm so sorry." He said quietly so Lorelei didn't wake

Her father nodded. "What did this man do? What did he look like?"

"He...took advantage of her multiple times before I could get to her...Dark hair, tall, brawny looking. I didn't get any good look at his face but I did see a sleeve down his left arm and a scar across both of his hands."

He nodded. "Yeah, I know him." He muttered. "Stay here and protect her." He demanded, stalking out.

Kai nodded and stated, holding Lorelei even closer

Lorelei slept peacefully. Loreleis dad came back the next hour, covered in the man's blood.

Kai didn't speak, just nodded his thanks to the man

The man nodded, stalking off to bed. Lorelei woke a few hours later.
