Noah just burst into tears, sobbing. |

"Noah..." She breathed, standing to sit beside him and put a hand to his back. "please, tell me what's wrong." |

"Do you even want me?" He murmured through his sobs into his hands. |

Emery was taken aback by the question, stuttering before answering. "Noah, of course I want you. You're all I want.." |

"So... whyd you tell me you wanted me to go to Henry?" |

"I said that because you two are really great friends, I didn't mean to sound like I wanted you two to get back together.." |

"Oh..." so he was just overreacting? That was embarrassing... |

"The more I think about it though, the more I realize it sounded like I meant that." She mused, still at his side. |

Noah nodded, brushing the rest of his tears away. It wasn't just that... he'd felt unwanted from this morning, but what happened last night... Rowan had always been like that, that was his thing, kiss him and then just pull away for no reason, or worse, get Noah shaky and needy and pulling away before Noah was done. |
