Matt nodded, the relief staying in his system as she carried on speaking, feeling a little..lighter than he had before. "Well I want to at least try, you know? To make it past everything I mean, or at least most things." he said, his tone soft and his voice quiet as he spoke, still resting his chin on her head. He frowned a little at her next comment, shaking his head lightly. "Right but you're my idea of perfect, so to me, you are" he said quietly, lifting his chin off her head to look down at Trixie. "I love you too, so much." he whispered.

Trixie listened to him intently as he spoke, nodding afterwards. "I understand. And I want the same thing." She nodded quietly, her head still buried in his chest. She blinked when he began to speak again, tentatively lifting her head to look at him. She was sure the sentence made her melt inside, a substantial amount at that. "That- that's high praise." She whispered back, stuttering slightly and holding his gaze. "I think you're my perfect too." She said softly, leaning into him slightly at his whisper. She brought her lips to his gently, moving her hand up to cup his cheek.

Matt let himself sink into Trixie a little more as she gave the praise back, feeling his heart flutter a little as she spoke. He found it hard to believe her fully, after all he quite literally treated her like shit at one point, though he was still happy to hear the sentence overall. As she cupped his cheek, he stood himself up a little better from the wall, kissing the top of her head. Suddenly, he didnt want to leave. He didnt want to have to go to work either, he just wanted to stay around her. Be with her. Though Trixie agreeing with his words dampened that slightly. "What would you like to do?" he asked, pushing the thoughts down a little.

Trixie smiled softly as he settled into her just a little more, leaning her head forward and into his kiss slightly. The idea of him leaving suddenly seemed quite upsetting- at that point, she just wanted to stay where she was for as long as she could. She curled into him a bit more at his question, pressing a kids to his cheek. "I could stay here for a long time. But we could watch a movie, sleep, something that involves a substantial amount of cuddling." She joked softly.

Matt nodded, smiling softly as she spoke. He took his arms away from her so he could move away from the wall, brushing something off the bottom of his shirt before speaking again. "We could find something to watch and go from there, if you like?" he suggested, pulling his phone down to look at the time briefly. "Do you still think..you need time away from me?" he asked, out of nowhere almost. If she didnt think so, he would hapily suggest call to cancel work, fall asleep with her, but if she said yes, well..he would ratheer go.

Trixie gently unwrapped her arms from him as he did the same, smiling faintly up at him. "Sounds great to me. In the living room or the bedroom?" She asked lightly, resting a hand absentmindedly on his chest. At the question, she blinked, offering him a slightly abashed smile. "No. No, I don't. If anything, I don't want you to leave." She answered quietly, tilting her head up at him.

"Bedroom? If either of us end up falling asleep, at least itll be upstairs." Matt suggested, giving a soft smile. It grew a little as she gave her second answer, and he nodded slowly, to contain the slight excitement he felt. "Alright." He said softly, rubbing his fingers on the palm of his hand, albeit a little nervously. "I can cancel going into work, if you want?" he asked. He was only asking to know if she actually..wanted that before doing so.

"Alright." Trixie nodded, returning his smile and grabbing his hand gently. She led him lightly to the stairs, keeping a good hold on his hand as the walked up the stairs. She blinked at his question, offering him a small, genuinely eager smile. "If it's not too much trouble. I would... really like that." She nodded, guiding him slowly into her bedroom.

Matt nodded, pulling his phone out so he could check if he had any messages from his work or otherwise. He didnt, luckily meaning he was probably able to cancel without problem. He didnt bother to call them, insteadshot a simple message in their direction before putting his phone back away, sitting himself on the bed. "Am I picking the movie?" he asked with a smile, tilting his head as he spoke.

"As always." Trixie nodded teasingly, sliding into bed happily and waiting patiently for him to lay down. She gently rubbed his back in circles while She waited, an absentminded process, her head laid against the pillows and her body under the covers. That entire day had been emotionally exhausting, and in all honesty, she was ready to just... sleep.
