Gale still remain in the nightmare, arms still in the positions they ha been.One tucked up near his chest,the other where it had ben draped around Kayla's waist. |

A cold sweat broke across his skin, him going farther and farther into the arena. -------- The whistle blew,and Gale ran,ran as fast as his legs could carry him at his opponent,a young,roughly 12 year old boy with nothing more then a knife.Gale drew back his curved dagger,dragging it across the boys skin right as he was hit in the side with the opposite dagger.Gale winced but turned,circling the boy before going forward, missing due to the boy dodging.Gale was no more then 14,no way he could be,this was how the fight happened,he would win he wo- Gale's thougths were disturbed as something stabbed into his side,him crying out as he looked down,chest tight,unable to breath due to shock.His world started spinning with the roar of the crowd,the sobs of the boy,and the shouts of the guards,heading right for him. |

Gale was awoken by the guards dragging him back to his cell,throwing him in before chaining him,per usual.But then,they came back with the whip,arrows,knives,everything.He whimpered,backing into the corner,being told he was safe only to be betrayed. "Hey kid,you're fine.Cool it,"
The guard had said,approaching Gale and jabbing the knife into his side,Gale crying out. -------- Gale cryed out as he awoke,eyes snapping open as he sat up immediatly.With wide eyes his hand darted to his side and felt nothing,okay then look at it?He looked at his hand,eyes still wide as there was no blood on it.His chest heaved,the cold sweat still lingering on his skin. "It was just a dream,just a stupid dream." He mumbled to himself,tipping his head against the baseboard and shutting his eyes. |

"Gale?" She asked softly, taking away her arms and pacing a hand on the shoulder |

Gale's head snapped to the side as he looked at her,flinching when she set a hand on his shoulder but melting into her touch once he realized it was her. "Yeah?"
He croaked,tipping his head back once more. |
