Matt twisted the steering wheel rather hard as he pulled out the lot and onto the road, letting go completely to put his seatbelt on. The car tilted a little, and he had to grab the steering wheel quite quickly to steady it. "Glad." he said quietly, focusing on the road. He felt his mind go a little blank at her next words, but he didnt look at her, just shrugged. "Is that what you'd actually like? Or are you saying it so I dont get upset again?" he asked, his tone neutral. He didnt want o come across as patronising, or harsh, he just wanted to ask the question without sounding like he was starting another argument. "Look I know that no amount of apologies can fix me ruining your entire day, and please dont hit me with the "its okay" and then immediately act like you forgive me, but I genuinely am sorry." He said, swallowing the lump in his throat to no avail. He looked out his window to avoid her staring at him, if he did start with the tears..again.

Trixie tensed up at the first few minutes of somewhat erratic driving, gripping gently onto her seat, somewhere she hoped he couldn't see. She thought for a few moments at his question, then blew out a small breath. "A little bit of both. I also don't want to be alone." She said honestly, her tone quiet with shame. She listened to his apology in silence, then stayed silent for a good two minutes after, just thinking. He had ruined her day, whether she wanted to admit it or not. "Okay. Thank you, for apologizing." She nodded quietly, glancing at him. Her tone was similiar to his- neutral.

"Alright" Matt said bluntly, not adding a single thing to his sentence, or even looking at Trixie as he drove, instead just focused on the road. He had multiple thoughts still running through his mind, one being would this actually..work out? As much as he wanted to ask, talk abiut it, he already felt hopeless over the fact it had been made out to be all his fault, he was exhausted and in general fed up. Soon enough they got to her house, and he pulled the car into the driveway slowly. "I might just stay for a couple hours." he mumbled, rubbing his leg.

Trixie stared at her hands for most of the ride, only looking up when they pulled into the driveway. Her attention turned to him when he spoke and and she did her best to offer him a smile. "Oh. Alright." She nodded quietly, getting out and waiting for him before she lead the way into her house, glancing over her shoulder to make sure He was following.

Matt got out and shut the door, proceeding to follow Trixie as she made her way to the house. He looked back briefly to lock the car, then also made his way into the house, somewhat slowly. After the door was shut, he decided to speak. "I'd stay over as you said, but I feel as if you maybe..need space from me? I dunno, I know you didnt exactly say that but.." he started, leaning against the door, rubbing his forehead briefly. "I really dont know, its not easy to explain. I also think I have work tonight, maybe? So unless you wanted to come down there with me, I doubt i'd be able to stay anyway." he finished, shifting from one foot to another.

Trixie bit her lip when he began to speak, leaning against the counter to look at him quietly. "Maybe. I don't honestly know what I need, but I would like to be with you for a little while. Works this out so it isn't blown out of proportion." She responded quietly, curling her arms around herself. She stared at the ceiling for a moment after he finished speaking, nodding quietly. She hadn't been to the pub since she found him flirting with Sierra- she was almost afraid he would be doing the same thing, and she would rather not know, at that point. She had to trust him again somehow. "Oh. I don't... think I'll be going to the pub tonight. But I'd love for you to stay as long as you can." She offered quietly, offering him a small smile.

Matt nodded, feeling a new wave of pain spready through him as she agreed, though he was the one that said it in the first place. "Right." He said quietly, his voice slightly shaky again. He closed his eyes for a couple of seconds, took a deep breath and cast his gaze back down towards Trixie, his eyes lingering. To him, she was so effortlessley pretty, and kind. He had as good as lost that. "Oh okay." Was all he managed to get out, going back to resting his head on the wall out of pure despair. "Do you actually think we're..good for each other? Do you think this'll work?" he asked after a moment of silence, bringing himself to look back at her. He did his best to give a smile though it was faint, and he was struggling to speak let alone seem like he wasnt, to put it bluntly, depressed.

Trixie brought her gaze down to her feet, feeling guilty for telling the truth. She could only hope it didn't upset him- but it did, of course. She glanced up when she heard the shakiness return to his voice, biting her lip anxiously. She tilted her head at the question, leaning back onto the counter and bringing her gaze up to the ceiling in slight shock- mixed with hurt at the fact that he felt the need to ask. That he thought of that. She simply stared for a few moments, then brought her gaze back down to him and blew out a light breath. She made her way towards him slowly, gently curling her arms around him when she got close enough and resting her head on his chest. "I think so, yes. Do you think differently?" She asked quietly.

Matt let her put her arms around him, doing the same back though his touch was light, almost as if he didnt want to hurt her with simple contact. He felt a little relief at her answer, keeping his eyes closed as he breathed out. "No. I'd never want us to be apart, Trixie. And as much as it doesnt seem this way, you're all ill ever want." he said quietly, resting his chin on the top of her head, his grip tightening a little so he could hug her properly. "I'll probably never make it right either, but i'm still sorry, for basically everything. You're perfect." he added, staring at the wall across from him with a solemn expression.

Trixie smiled faintly to herself at his words, tightening her grip on him in spite of his hesitance. "I feel the same. You're all I need, and you're all I'll ever need." She answered softly, closing her eyes and enjoying the familiar position of his head resting on hers. She nodded softly at his next words, keeping herself pressed against him in silence for a few moments. "That's alright. There are a lot of things I'll never be able to make right either, but that doesn't matter as long as we can look past it." She let out a slight laugh at his last words, shaking her head. "No, I'm not perfect. It's sweet that you think I am, but I'm not- no one is. I love you." She added quietly.
