Max chuckled lightly "Sorry I know im indecisive!" She giggled looking at the doughnuts for a short while longer before she finally picked out a chocolate glazed one... that one looked especially delicious... so she grabbed two of them... she couldn't help herself... they looked so good... she told Sage and Charlie they could have a second donut as well if they wanted... she didn't want to be the only one to have two.

Sage chuckled lightly and then settled down at the table with Charlie, Lance following them after a moment. He scooted over to make room for Max when she got back after ordering, and once they got their donuts they all dug in. Sage and Charlie split another donut...Charlie wanted another one but he knew she wouldn't finish it, so he just ate her leftovers. He didn't really want another one...they were more sugar than he could really handle, but he could finish what was left.

Maxine couldn't help herself... instead of saving her second donut for later she ate both of them in one sitting... she couldn't help it... as they chatted she decided to ask her dad "Do you want to know what we're having?" Max asked curiously "I wouldn't mind knowing..." he admitted "But that's your choice really..." he admitted Charlie couldn't help but pipe in "I wanna know, I want to know if I'm gonna be a big sister to a little brother or little sister!" She squeaked Maxine laughed at her "That's a choice daddy and I have to make." She informed her giving a smile "Wouldn't you want it to be a surprise?" She asked "No... I want to know." She squeaked.

Sage looked over at Lance curiously when Max brought up whether they should know or not. He chuckled when Charlie piped in, and while it was ultimately his and Max's decision, Charlie's input was good to know. "Well, like I said, I don't mind either way," he told Max. "So I suppose you're the final call," he chuckled lightly.

Maxine sighed lightly thinking on it some more "I think we should find out." She nodded with a chuckle "We already had our surprise with Charlie so... why not find out?" She suggested.

Sage grinned happily over at Max. "Sounds good to me," he chirped lightly. "I'll call Roxie later," he told her. Lance would probably just assume that was the doctor Max went to...and if not, he knew Sage was a demon so he wouldn't be too suprised to find out they were going to have another demon check for them, to find out what it was. Sage pecked Max on the cheek happily before getting up to go help Charlie wash her hands and face off.

Maxine nodded "okay." She said happily Lance was curious but he didn't ask questions that was their business not his. When they came back Max went and washed her own hands before she sat back with her family "Is there anything else you guys wanted to do while we're out?" She asked curiously "I'm up for one more activity at least..." She told them with a smile.

Sage smiled over at her and nodded happily. He got Charlie washed up and all freshened up and then washed his own hands and waited for Max to wash hers before looking over at Charlie once she asked her question. "Any ideas," he asked before looking at Lance. "You too, dad," he chuckled.

Lance thought for a short bit before he looked at them "Playground?" He suggested it was a decent way to tire Charlie out a bit and Max could swing or whatever plus it wasn't far. "That sounds nice." Maxine admitted happily. Once everyone confirmed they headed out to the playground that was about a 10 minute walk from the donut place Charlie was quick to head off and go play with the other kids dragging her dad and her grandfather behind her giggling whilst Max went to sit on the swing.

Sage nodded happily when Lance suggested the playground. And, well, it was nice to see Charlie so excited about a new playground. He let Charlie drag him around until he was worn out and wandered over to sit in a swing next to Max with a groan. Charlie was still playing with lance and some other kiddos, so he'd taken his chance to sit down.
