"Kai, I'm not ready for a relationship right now," she said gently. "I like you, I really do, but I just can't right now. Maybe someday it'll work out, but not today, I'm sorry,"

"No, I entirely understand it's just it's a bit for me to accept. You know I'll still always be here for you, right? Forever."

Kai smiled and leaned into her hand slightly, humming a bit. He kept her close. "I know we're not a thing but I've kissed your head a couple times and you didn't seem to mind but at the same time, you were pretty...yeah...Is that alright?"

"Yeah, that's something friends do," she hummed softly.

"Just checking." He murmured softly, cuddlign in closer

Lorelei smiled and cuddled in, burying her face in his chest.

He asked softly, playing with her hair

Lorelei settled on his chest, curling up into him. She shrugged. "I don't care," she mumbled.

|
"Are you sleepy?" He said softly, slightly teasing her with a chuckle. He heard the doorbell and walked over to grab the pizzas, leaving her on the bed
