Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien jolted when his phone buzzed. He finished tugging on his tennis shoes and pulled out his phone. He clicked on Nick's message thread and yanked open the door, stepping out of the house and closing the door behind him. He felt a small smile slide onto his lips as he responded. -Yeah, that sounds good. The malls on the way to the AirBnB, yeah? I'll come over.- Adrien sent it, shoving his phone into his jacket pocket and beginning to walk toward the mall and Nick. Adrien ran a hand through his hair, walking along the side walk easily. He yawned quietly. Who plays lasertag at eight pm? He thought bitterly. He was interupted by a passing though of: But you'll see Nick. He huffed at the thought. Adrien shooed it away and continued walking. He approached the AirBnB, kicking a rock as he waited for Nick. |

Nick Browns -
Nick texted Adrien back quickly after his phone pinged. -Kk- He sent, pulling on his sneakers and then walking back over to the kitchen. He fed the cats, putting either food in each of their bowls and setting them on the ground, watching the fluffy orange cat bound over to his food, and the black and white tuxedo walked calmly up to her bowl next to Gingers. Nick smiled at the cats and exited the AirBnB, locking the door behind him. He spotted Adrien waiting for him a few paces away, and smiled, butterflies already knocking around in his stomach. Nick tried to ignore the butterflies and just strode up to Adrien, trying to look somewhat confident. "Hey" he said as he approached the handsome, dark haired boy. Nick noticed his jacket and chuckled. "I like your jacket" he commented with a smile. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien looked away, hiding a small smile. "Yeah yeah, thanks. Let's go?" He questioned, gesturing for him to come on. Adrien began walking with Nick, looking around silently. The walk wasn't unpleasant, and the water was close. But everything a car passed by he tensed, especially when one of the louder cars drove by. His tennis shoes patted against the ground as he walked. Though, he was swiftly preoccupied by someone walkingVa golden retriever... He couldn't resist. Adrien looked at the owner, pausing. He fiddled with his fingers anxiously. "Can I pet your dog?" He asked the lady. She brightened and nodded happily. Adrien sank to hisknees, smiling as he began pampering the older golden. "I love dogs..." He mumbled,kissing the older dogs forehead. He shoved to his feet. "Thank you..." He muttered to the lady. She nodded at him and both parties continued walking. Adrien kept his eyes on the pavement as he walked, hands shoved into his jacket pockets. He had a thought, and it slipped between his lips before he could stop it. "You're like a golden retriever I think." He mumbled out, kicking a pebble as he walked. |

Nick Browns -
Nick had purposely put himself on the side closest to the road, trying to help Adrien as much as he could. He knew what it was like to be afraid of something, so he did his best to make it a bit easier for Adrien. He smiled and watched Adrien pet the golden retriever, it was quite cute actually. Nick liked dogs too, but he let Adrien pet this one. He then kept on walking with Adrien by his side. Nick chuckled lightly at his comment, I guess he was kind of the golden retriever type. "Does that make you the black cat?" he asked, joking around a bit. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien thought as he walked. "I think so?" He said. They went back to a comfortable silence, the sounds of the road and ocean ringing in his air. You don't even know anyone here. Why did I even offer to come? He thought with a slight frown. He saw the Mall coming into view and hummed. For Nick. He thought. He hated it was true. "Who all is going to be here?" He asked curiously. If it was Nick's friends, they probably brought their girlfriends- or whatever popular people do...? |

Nick chuckled again before fading into a comfortable silence, just walking beside Adrien calmly. Well, if butterflies beating up your stomach, heart hammering, and red tinge of a blush on the back of his neck was calm, then yeah, calm. "Um.. Josh, Charlie, Dylan, Liam, Colin, Tony, Declan, Sam, Jayden, Trey and Gavin." he listed off the group of guys who had agreed to go tonight, which was most of the football team. They all went lasertagging as a group every now and then, and then some of the guys would meet up with their girlfriends at the mall afterward and go see a movie. Sometimes Nick got roped into that because of Arianna, and he hated every minute of it, but thankfully Arianna was busy tonight. They walked through the parking lot and to the main entrance, and Nick entered, holding the door open for Adrien, behind him. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien made a face. "Eh... people... lots of people..." He mumbled. He glanced down at Nick, raising an eyebrow. He raised an arm, holding the door open above Nick's head. Hey, maybe being 2 inches taller was nice. Adrien gestured for him to go in and followed after him. He glanced round the mall, crystal blue eyes sparkling in the light. "Aaron and I used to come here all the time..." He muttered, looking around silently. It was nice to be back if he was honest.... |

Nick chuckled. "Yeah it is. I don't really like it either, but if I go today, I get out of it another day." he said optimistcally. Nick watched Adrien hold the door open, and look down on him with those... fucking gorgeous eyes.... Nicks cheeks flushed a light pink and he ducked his head down and walked inside. Nick kept his head down until the pink hue faded. "Mhm..." he hummed in response. He was listening, but he had other things on his mind. "Hey, just a heads up, I act a little differently around my friends..." he explained. Nick was worried Adrien might think he was weird for how he was about to act around his football friends. |

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien had to suppress a frown at that. "I know... I've seen you at school before..." He said, walking with him. He shoved his hands into his pockets. Adrien saw the neon colors or the laser tag and the loud chatters of other people. He sucked in a breath. Ah yes, social anxiety... so much fun. He tightened his jaw, dropping any hint of a smile off his face. He did not feel like smiling anymore... (Sorry it's short) |

Nick sighed, yeah he did have to act like that at school too. He noticed Adriens sudden change in mood and frowned. "You don't hafta talk to them, Jay and Liam are really shy, so they get it." Nick reassured him. Nick walked up to the group, changing his personality almost completely. The fake Nick. There was a chorus of "Hey man!" and a bunch of other greeting along with pats on the back, high fives and fist bumps. Nick went along with it, acting, but completely hating all of it. Soon enough their group was called to go into the first room to get their vests on and fake guns. Nick fell back and walked with Adrien into the first room with flashing bright neon lights. |
