Kin's face went to abstact offense. Splaying his hands to the side as if to say what do you mean. "That is so mean." (*writes down in list of the meanest things anyone has ever said to me*) He gasped in his attemped to not laugh. He kept a little smile. He was very glad she didn't ask anything further about his magic, it meant he didn't have to explain anyting. He was still a little sad that he didn't get to brag anymore though. He looked her over as she took the pills, and then asked for help. He hesitated, "yeah." He added. Adjusting his bag to the other side and moving over to the bad side. He slipped his arm around her and brought her arm over his head to rest on his neck. About now he remembered he'd left his bag and bow by tje side of a building. He would have to come back for them. "The inn in just a couple streets away." He said encouragingly.

Eris shrugged. "I just figured she wouldn't believe you. I seem out of your league, no?" She mocked. (Note how she said SEEM, because she cant lie and say she IS out of his league- because she doesnt believe she is). She snickered softly at the expression on his face. She blinked at his hesitance for helping her, watching him come closer. He had just watched her bite a man. There was probably still blood on her face, now that she thought of it. The thought made her stomach twist. She let him take her arm and shifted into him slightly, moving to hobble onward as he guided them on. "Good to know." She huffed, obviously having difficulty.

omg that is such a sad misconception, he wasnt sure she actually wanted his help but she thinks he thinks shes a monster) The elf rolled his eyes, as if he was any better about teasing. He shifted slightly to make sure she was comfortable before he started walking. They started a bit slow so they weren't just jostling around. That was not the kind of eventful he assumed they would be having at midnight in a quaint town. He was already planning how tomorrow would go, definitely staying the next day to make sure they weren't out of supplies, and so she might not be half dead. She could barely walk. The walk felt slow at first but it started to go faster the longer they were at it. His eyes were angled a bit down.

Hehehehe now that I'm thinking about it I love it Best enemies to lovers ever)) Eris simply hobbled along, gritting her teeth against the slowly lightening pain. She tried not to lean on him that heavily, out of both pride and the idea that he didn't want to be near her. Much less touching her. She kept her face turned from him most of the walk, surprising herself with how self conscious she felt. She felt... like a monster. A barbarian. "Are all your young that vile?" She asked quietly, peering directly ahead.

Enemies to loves via miscommunication)) The elf hadn't really had a thought since the quarter of the way mark, he was just walking and keeping her supported. He glanced slightly in her direction. "I hope not. Everything has been getting worse since the war started." He explained matter-of-factly. His posture changed slowly as he relaxed, still listening for any sign of the boys. The people had become fewer but they were definitely getting more looks. A beaten up fae. He hoped the inn-keeper would let her stay without a fight.

Eris let out a sigh as they continued onward, nodding slowly at his words. "I wish I could say you're wrong." She answered quietly, moving onward slowly. She didn't have the energy to care about the states any more. She didn't care. She just wanted to bathe, or shower, or clean herself somehow, and then pass out.

Kin eyed the inn and walked up to it. It appeared to be a quaint tavern with rooms. Two elves manned the bar, the nearest one greeted him and made a concerned expression for his companion. He brought her arm over his head and let her rest against the counter. He pursued a conversation in the native tongue, gaining a room key, paying and glancing around the tavern at his direction. Kin turned to Eris again. "Do you want help again or are you feeling any better?" (when he leaves to get his stuff he can ask for bath doing stuff by the way)

Eris let out a soft breath as they finally made it to the inn, leaning against the counter quietly. She let her head drop just slightly, waiting for Kindred to be done. She paid barely any attention, simply limping toward him at his words. "Help." She sighed quietly, wincing as she reached to gently, almost tentatively lay her arm over his shoulder.

Kin swept his arm over her lower back again, squeezing the key in his free hand slightly. He led them to the left of the bar, down a hallway with a lot of flat clay circles painted and hung on the matte brown walls, which branched at a T. Lots of earthy colors. He paused on a door to the left. He unlocked it and stepped in, he let her sit down on the bed and looked around. It was a small room with a bathroom attached, a nice little tub in it. He came back out and put the key on the wardrobe. "I'm gonna grab my things, I left them by the alley. Do you need anything?" He asked, taking his back off his shoulder and putting it up against the dresser.

Eris gave an involuntary shiver as his arm swept over her back, brushing her spine. She wrinkled her nose at the shiver, simply limping onward, focusing on breathing. She followed him intently to the room and almost immediately collapsed on the bed. She was so fucking tired. She closed her eyes for a moment and opened them again, looking at him for the question. "Soap. Bathing... stuff." She answered quietly, gingerly curling up into a ball. She had no shits left to give about what he thought of her position.
