Chris followed Annika out and entered the barn he stood by the stable door, "He's such a good boy" Chris pulled out a carrot and gave it to Shout. "Thankyou" he whispered to the horse. "My parents are probarly awake so let's go get some breakfast" he grabbed Annika's hand and walked towards the back door.

Annika couldn't help but smile as Shout chomped on the crunchy carrot. "He is" she murmured. She didn't shy at his touch like she usually did. She grasped his hand and walked along with him. "Do you know what's for breakfast?" She asked with a yawn. "Cause I may skip and take a nap before our road trip"

"I got no clue but honestly that would be a wise idea, I'll go and check and if it's anything exciting i'll come tell you otherwise we'll just get something on the road" He walked through the back door and gave her hand a little squeeze before letting it go. "See you in a little bit" He smiled and walked towards the kitchen, "Hey cook, what's for breakfast?" the cook smiled towards Chris, "Good morning to you too. Its just the usual" Chris sighed saying nothing and walked up to his room. He knocked on Annika's door, "Just thought i'd catch ya before you fell asleep. Nothing good for breakfast so we'll just get something on the way".

Annika smiled "thank you" she made her way to her room, ploppopping down on her bed for a second. She couldn't sleep even though she was exhausted. Chris's voice filled the room even though he was in the other side of her door. "Okay. Wait a second" she pulled herself to her feet then pulled open her door. "Are you gunna take a nap? Cause I can't sleep even though I'm super tired"

"Well I was thinking about it but there's no way I could sleep, so ima just chill till it's time to go, was thinking about leaving close to 8 so in a couple of hours" he looked around her room and turned his attention back to Annika.

"There's no need to avoid sleeping. Atleast try to?" she asked. She grabbed his arm and pulled him to her bed, walking to the other side and crawling under the covers. "Come in. I won't bite. I promise" she yawned then looked up at Chris

Chris nodded, "Won't hurt" he laughed and pulled the covers over him, the morning air still cold. Chris snatched one of the pillows from the bed and layed it under his head. Its soft texture brought comfort to Chris. He laid his hand on Annika's hand and looked around the room, "You've made it rather homely in here, I like it".

Annika smiled at his comment. "Why thank you. I changed absolutely nothing other than the bag of clothes I have yet to put up." She grinned and scooted closer to Chris. She laid beside him, her hand in his stomach, her head on his chest. She yawned then closed her eyes. "I might actually be able to sleep" she murmered

Chris yawned and slowly closed his eyes, "Maybe just a little snooze" he was soon fast asleep. The time ticked by and by the time Chris had woken up it had already reached 10am. "Oh Shoot" He looked over to Annika, she looked so peaceful. He gently brushed her face. He wanted to wake her but she was too exhausted beforehand so Chris let her rest. -Worse comes to worse we'll just stay the night at her parents place-

Annika felt a soft brush against her face and she shifted a little. She squeezed her eyes shut for a second then opened them again. Light was streaming in through the windows and she had to rub her eyes so she could see straight. "What time is it?" She murmured. "Is it time to go?" Suddenly she was wide awake "we didn't sleep too long did we?"
