Sage slipped into a pretty deep sleep after that...it really was quite nice. He wasn't sure he'd ever slept that well in his life....another perk of being in the arms of someone he felt safe with, he supposed. He stirred again a while later, starting to wake up a bit more. He did feel better....of course, they were still tangled up in the blankets, and for once he was nice and toasty, and not cold, even with thin clothes. So, he sort of just settled down again, not really willing to move away from the girl. She was comfy. Besides, he was honestly still half asleep, so he could stand to wake up a bit more anyway. If Liz didn't need him, then he was staying right where he was at.

T barely managed to keep herself awake, but she did. She simply cuddled with her sleeping companion until he stirred gently. She shifted ever so faintly as he moved, lifting her head to look down at him. She smiled faintly and pressed a kiss to his head, running her hand gently up and down his spine. She went to settle back down when Liz started cooing faintly, looking over her shoulder at the child with a soft sigh. They had already had more time together than she had expected, so it was only inevitable. She pressed another kiss to Sage's forehead, lightly withdrawing from his arms with an apologetic look to him.

Sage had sort of hummed in response to the girls peck, letting her know he was up or whatever. Of course, when he heard Liz start to coo, he sort of let out a heavy breath, stretching slightly as he untangled himself from T's grip. She'd moved to separate them too, and he gave her a tired grin in response to her look before rolling over to scoop Lizzie up with a grunt and then place her back down on his chest. "Hey kiddo," he hummed quietly, voice still sort of tired and crackly. "Sleep well," he asked, sort of jiggling the baby on his knees, which he'd drawn up even though he was still on his back. He knew she couldn't answer him, of course, but a grin had formed on her face, so he figured she was alright.

T smiled at the hum that came from him, stretching slightly as he moved off. She shifted closer to him as he picked up the baby, sitting comfortably at his side. She watched the baby happily, chuckling at the interaction between the father-daughter pair. "I'd say that's a yes. Speaking of sleep, did you sleep well?" She asked lightly, reaching over to press a kiss against Liz's forehead.

Sage sort of nestled against her side when she moved to settle next to him, leaning his head against her thigh. He chuckled in response to her comment and nodded lightly, humming softly. "She normally sleeps pretty deep," he mused. "I'm surprised some of the things I've done hadn't woken her up before," he chuckled. Then he nodded and gave her a grin. "Amazing how well you can sleep when you're curled up somewhere warm," he noted with a soft chuckle, watching the girl interact with Liz happily.

T gave an unabashed grin as he nestled into her, shifting so he could set his head more comfortably on her thigh. She settled a hand gently on his chest, tracing light, circular patterns over his heart. "She seems like she could sleep through a train wreck. We're lucky." She chuckled, offering him a smile when he grinned up at her. She set her other hand in his hair, her nails trailing faintly along his scalp as she tugged gently on tendrils of his hair. "I take credit for the whole warm thing last night. I'm your own little space heater." She grinned, leaning back against the wall lightly.

Sage hummed softly in response to her comment and nodded with a sort of laugh. "She probably could," he mused fondly, nestling onto the girl's lap happily. He noted what her hands were doing, of course, and he sort of just settles down comfortably. "What, are you planning on doing anything loud tonight," he teased lightly, figuring she'd know what he was referencing. Of course, if anything did happen, he'd probably enjoy it, but if she kept it to a joke, that was fine too. He grinned up at her in response to her other comment though, chuckling slightly. "it was quite cozy," he mused. "you make a good heater," he teased her lightly.

T chuckled at his slight innuendo, flushing very faintly. "Yes, I am planning something loud. Very loud. If that's alright with you, of course." She feigned innocence, gently dragging her finger out of his hair to run along his nose. She mockingly lifted the same hand to twirl a tendril of hair around her finger. "Aw, Sage. Are you calling me hot?" She joked, grinning at him. "But really; feel free to use me as a heater any time you want." She joked, reaching out to rustle Liz's wispy hair.

Sage chuckled slightly in response to her comment, flushing slightly when she agreed to later, but gave her a grin he figured she'd at least a bit attractive. "Well I can't say no to that when you look that pretty up there," he hummed before widening his smirk and bit at her next comment. "Might be," he hummed. "well have to see tonight, I suppose," he added, really just teasing her a bit. "Good, because now that I got it for one night I'm going to want it every night," he chirped lightly.

"I was hoping you'd say something like that." T smiled, tilting her head down at him for his enticing smirk. "Ah, alright. I'll try not to get too excited, then." She teased, raising her eyebrows at him ever so slightly for his last comment. "Does that only apply to my warmth?" She joked, stroking his hair lightly.
