Ajax looked slightly wilted. "Yes, Elvis is the first that came to mind. I am slightly ashamed of myself." He said in a dull voice, though his eyes twinkled merrily... even through the layers of pain that still hid in them. Every movement, every word... they all came with a price. Pain. "Oh, because I just read your obvious expression." Ajax answered with a side glance, again trying not to laugh as Mercy raised her hands and spoke. "For one, stop making everything so funny or I'm going to shatter my lungs again from laughing.... or trying not to laugh. For two, thanks for agreeing with my new amazing nickname." He announced with a slight grin, knowing that would stick with him forever... even after he was perfectly fine again. Even after all his inpaled skin and muscle healed.

"You should be." She purred disdainfully. She huffed at him and tossed her hair over her shoulder as she sat up. "I apologize for being entertaining. And, you're welcome!" She chirped brightly. "Now, what's my dare?" She asked again, trying to weasel it out of him by catching him off guard.

Ajax refused to roll his eyes, lifting his hand and curling it into a fist with a grimace instead. Even moving his hand sent pain shooting through his arm. Darn it all. He uncurled it and did the same thing again with a slight breath, highly displeased that he couldn't move without pain and almost hoping that if he curled his hand enough times the pain would fade away. "Good." He snorted, trying not to wince. -I WILL NOT wince when I snort- He thought stubbornly. When Mercy just chirped out a question Ajax looked slightly surprised, but his face fell into an amused expression. "I wasn't lying when I said I don't know. I literally have no idea." He answered, holding up both his hands in a surrendering position.

"Well, figure it out." Mercy added boredly, flopping on her back. "I would tell you to enlist the help of Goose and Rooster but I'm scared of what they would suggest." She said sarcastically, stretching out into the grass and looking up at the canopy of leaves above her with a sigh.

Ajax sighed slightly. His brain just didn't think like that... whenever he actually THOUGHT about something, his brain died. That's why jokes came so easily to him, because they just flowed from his brain to his mouth. He never actually thought very hard about them. Then... of course... Mercy could tell something happened. Ajax's face lit up, his eyes glowed with a mischevious look, and a bright, charming smile flashed across his face. "Ahem, Mercy, I know what to do." He commented with a sly grin. "I dare you to go up to one random demon of my choosing and say Goose is your boyfriend." Ajax crowed with a hoot of laughter, knowing it would HURT but not caring

Goose wasn't really listening up till he heard his name, then he snapped out of his daze. "Who what when why?" He asked with an eyebrow raise that made his musctache twitche up

She darted up and looked at him with wide eyes. "You wouldn't- oh, goodness. Ajax, you really hate me, don't you? GOOSE? Of all people, G O O S E?! Not Rooster, Not Ryan Reynolds, not you, not Danny DeVito or anyone else? Ugh." She glared at him and then looked at Goose. "Does he have to be there?"

(Oh my gosh I was reading that and just shrieked. RYAN REYNOLDS... only my favorite actor ever! Not kidding...))

Ajax couldn't help himself. God this would hurt so much. He burst out laughing, almost sinking onto the ground. Ajax laughed until he was finally content (and had gotten all the laughing out from before) where he finally sat up. He then staggered to his feet with a gasp of pain... but pleasure lit up his eyes. -Screw you Bellatrix! I can walk!- He thought with an excited look, then focused on Mercy with a truly evil grin. "Not Rooster because he would physically strangle me and leave my body to the crows. If the crows didn't eat my body Rooster would strangle one of them then threaten them until they cowered in fright and devoured my corpse. Not Ryan Reynolds because that would offend me. Not ME because that would torture me as much as you. Not Danny DeVito because I have absolutely no idea who he is." Ajax explained with a sly smile, looking at Goose who was still mystified. "Yes, he has to be there." Ajax almost purred. -Revenge. Muah haha- He thought

Goose's eyes widened. "For flippin cryin out loud what are you talking about? Why is Mercy acting like a seal that just stared into a polar bears jaws?" He inquired

Ajax looked at Goose with a chuckle. "Mercy owed me a dare. I dared her to go on a *date* with you, go up to a demon of my choosing, and openly declare you are her boyfriend." He repeatede it clearly just to have Mercy hear it again. -And she still doesn't know the disgust and defeat I felt when she challenged me to fight Bellatrix, or when Bellatrix kissed me- Ajax thought with a shudder.

Goose jumped up with a yelp. "Wait noooo... why!? I thought I was your friend." He whimpered, backing up into the tree with a EXTREMELY sad face

Aha! I agree completely- Ryan Reynolds is the best))

She watched him stumble up with a huff. "Too bad he still wont do that.." She muttered, getting to her feet and crossing her arms. "Uh-uh, you don't get to be offended over Ryan." She scoffed as he basically dissed her. "Excuse you, you had better find yourself honored if I ever pretend to be your girlfriend, especially after everything you put me through." She snapped, glaring at him. She turned on Goose just as quick. "You better feel the same way or you might find that you don't have any more mustache. Dear." She added sarcastically. She looked back at Ajax with a pout. "Which demon?"

Mercy watched Ajax, blinking at him as he gave her a- sort of- compliment. Her hostile manner dropped for a second and she flushed, swallowing and directing her attention back to Goose so she would have an excuse. "Good." She nodded sarcastically. She couldn't be mad at the goofball for long, it just wasn't possible. She looked back at Ajax and raised her eyebrows. "And I meant it, too. But he's smart enough to keep it for now." She joked. She tilted her head quizzically at him. "Johnny? Wow, what an original name." She looked at Ajax with concern, taking a few steps toward him as he decided to torture himself. "Ajax, we don't have t- I- Okay." She followed close behind him the whole way there, in case he decided to try and die again. She blinked in surprise as the demon popped out, gravitating back toward Goose since she was supposed to be his girlfriend. She giggled at the demon quietly and sent him a charming smile. "Truer words have never been spoken. Well, I don't want to keep you long, but Ajax here got it in his head that you would get a kick out of our little announcement." She said, rolling her eyes and wrapping an arm around Goose's waist, inserting herself under his arm in a semi-natural looking way. She was doing pretty decent so far, and only had to steel herself for about a half a second or so before she did her dare. "I am officially dating the biggest goofball in the demon world." She smiled, looking over at Ajax with a subtle 'I'm going to kill you later' glare. She gave Goose a gentle squeeze and kept right on smiling at 'Johnny'.l
