"Find anything, Sage?" she called out to him, mainly to make sure he was okay since she couldn't see where he was. Cassidy set the backpack on the bed to stuff the couple shirts and pants she found in it to have to change into something other than her over worn clothes. They would have to try and find more clothes that way they wouldn't have to keep wearing the same outfit but that would come in time. They found some extra essentials that they needed and that was good enough for her. Cassidy sat down on the bed and she couldn't help but lay back against it and groan in happiness. It had been months since she last laid down in a bed and it felt so nice. |

Sage heard her but didn't respond since he was around the corner and coming back. He went into the room and walked over to her with a grin, leaning over her. "I found some clothes, though most of them were dressy and not at all practical. And some fun candles. So I snagged them just for the sake of it." He set his stuff down and flopped into the bed next to Cass with a grunt. They could rest for a while... they'd cleared the zombies so so they were safe. |

"Oh, that's good. It feels so nice to finally lay in a bed" she admitted and when Sage laid down next to her, she rolled onto her side and scooted closer to Sage to rest her head on his shoulder. Cassidy closed her eyes while her hand rested on his chest "I took beds for granted growing up" she laughed softly. Actually, Cassidy took a lot for granted like most people before the zombies started taking over. It was nice though. Laying in a bed with Sage and it helped relax her aching muscles from sleeping on something hard for many months now. Sure being in her wolf form helped but it only helped so much and a mattress certainly was a lot nicer. |

Sage chuckled and blushed when she curled up against him but wrapped his arms around her anyway. It was nice to cuddle, he had to admit that. Then he had a thoughy and looked at the girl. "Do you think we could drag the mattress back to the cave? We could get it over the water if we tried hard enough " |

His suggestion surprised her but the mattress would get soaked from the waterfall and it would take days for it to dry but it would be worth it. "This mattress is a twin mattress so I think we can handle it" they couldn't be picky in their situation and with how small both of them were, they could fit comfortably on a twin mattress. Especially if Cassidy slept how she was every night then it would give Sage plenty of room to sprawl out. "The mattress would take a few days to dry but it would be really nice to have one instead of sleeping on the hard ground. Me and you can manage it" she smiled. |

Sage chuckled and nodded. "If we turn it a certain way it won't get too wet," he thought out loud. If they could get it through the crack between the water and the cave wall, it would work. Only a bit of water would get in the mattress, and it would be nice to have. The blankets they had would have to do, unless they got the blankets on it later. But it would be helpful, especially once it got cold, which would be in a few months. |

"If you think we can carry it then why not" she started tracing patterns on his chest with the tip of her finger and she sighed softly "It will be nice to try and make the cave a little more like home." They had clothes now, food, blankets, and they would have a mattress now too so what more could they ask for? It was pretty much luxury in their time and they just had to make sure no humans found their spot. Cassidy would fight tooth and nail for their new home if anyone tried to take it from them. It was theirs and they claimed it. |

Sage chuckled and nodded, though he was keenly aware of her fingers tracing small pictures along his chest. "It definitely has potential to be very cozy. And warm once it gets colder. Winter will be here soon," he pointed out. |

She shrugged "I don't worry too much about winter. Werewolves have a lot of body heat so we stay pretty warm. In the Spring and Summer we actually get over heated sometimes from the amount of heat our body holds in." Cassidy knew she could keep Sage warm too during the winter and the blankets would help too. As long as if he stayed against her then he would stay warm without having to worry about frost bite or freezing to death. Cassidy stopped tracing pictures on his chest and she rested her hand on top of it. "We should get going soon. We have a mattress go get back home" she giggled softly. |

Sage smiled and nodded. "Well I'll be counting on your body heat to keep me nice and toasty during the winter," he laughed. He rolled over onto his side, facing Cass. "I can use my powers if we need it...now that I'm not half starved it doesn't tire me out nearly as much." It was nice that he didn't have to worry about all of that. |
