He woke up briefly, but it was dark and the fire was going so he closed his eyes again. He stayed awake but rested. He didn't want to move though - he was comfortable and he didn't get comfortable very often.

She slept peacefully. keeping close to him, she shifts her legs slightly and held a very soft blanket that covered her body, she moved her arm slightly and pulled the blanket close to her face.

He opened one eye at the movement and smiled slightly. He moved the blanket up on the side that had only come up part way and sat back again.

Ellie slept, she smiled slightly as she slept, dreaming she whines a bit. She stretched her arms up a bit and held onto his leg hugging it as she sleeps.

He was a bit confused at first, but shrugged it off. He watched her closely, since he had never really seen her this happy. He couldn't remember a time when he was happy like that. He wanted to remember, but it had been so long he wasn't sure he could even be happy like that. Could he even remember how? He sighed quietly and closed his eyes again, thinking.

She slept quietly until the sun rose and glared into the entrance of the cave.

Sage decided he should probably get up, so he slowly maneuvered himself up so that he didn't wake up Ellie. He shivered slightly as he stood up and slipped off the ledge. He put his hand up to sheild his eyes from the sun as he looked out of the cave.

Ellie slept for a while longer covering her face with the blanket.

Sage checked the surroundings and decided to go hunt. He left a note saying where he was so Ellie wouldn't wake up and worry about it. He didn't plan on being gone for long, though, and she was still asleep since the sun was still rising.

Ellie woke up after awhile, she moved off the ledge and saw the note she picked it up and read it before sitting down and trying to get the fire started again.
